Govt should charge a heavy money from these corporates as they will get benifitted from CISF cover on the cost of tax payers money. This is not justified.

Anyway corporates are paying 1lakh per day which is 3.6 crores per annum. For the peanuts which govt pays to these jawans i guess this this amount is far better...
What would be the Actual Salary of these CISF Commandos who risk their lives and their families lives along with them! Any guess...
Will all the 3.6 crores paid to CISF reach these folks are it would be swindled in between by the Agency and pay paltry Salaries to them with no amenities...

Definitely it would be much better than private security guards get paid. Private security guards are exploited by paying 2500pm for working 6 days a week, 12 hours a day

If you do not have security, you would feel living in Africa. If you feel unsafe about your fixed deposit in a bank going bust, it is like that of national security of doing business in peace, understand! good you blogger
It is the strength of Constitution of India that reverse engineering of capitalism is also possible and in the season of public-private-partnership a PPP of private -public-partnership is possible. Taking benefit of Government where it is strong and taking benefit of the private where it is strong. Hope with this Mr. N R Murthy will change his mindset towards Government Employees and their commitment towards their responsibility(far exceeding then the private to put their life in danger which is not possible by Private Employee). Sometimes not thinking in terms of money only is also equally important. Ultimately someone is doing that with meagre salary in hand that is why we are Safe and Happy. An alumni has to nurture his institution then is it not the responsibility of a Capable organisation to help nurturing Forces?

i Have seen these CISF men from close quarters where they were posted for a PSU Power Project in J&K. Do not please ridicule them, they are there for your safety. These Guys are good, professional and well motivated.
Well i would like to thank Government for providing CISF security as it is a good revenue earner for CISF. In fact every Infosys employee should show there respect for them and help them out carry out there work.

They wont be laughing when they point those Toys they are holding when John Doe tries to intrude!Secondly theu are costing the company some crores annually! thirdly the security services are only to deter opportunistic criminals! Determined and motivated terrorists even brave the Army and of course pay the price! Remember Akshar Dham temple? Well done Infosys! the way to go!
Infosys has always been lucky to get free lands from Karnatka and AP as if the company is doing some public serivce.
The promotors and many share holders of this company became millioniars with their business getting all these sops.
Now security from CISF.
If Infosys recruits private security guards from private security firms , at least a minimum salary of Rs.4000/= have to be paid to each security guard in a city like Hyderabad , if this is Mumbai , may be it shall be Rs.6000 or more.
Now what for Govt.of India , has decided to provide CISF security comprising about a 100 men and equipement like motor cycles,vans,walki-talkies and latest arms and ammunition just for Rs.1000/= per jawan?
Are jawans so well trained and equipped cost you just Rs.1000/= per month ?! Are they so cheap?
Ordinary security guards mostly retired employees from security forces (and aged as well) without guns, vehicles cost you Rs.4000 to 6000 and upwards.
On what basis the cost is decided?
Probably on the basis of kick backs to the ministers, middlemen(MLAS AND MP who would have influenced the Govt.) and offcourse official "party funds" provided by Infosys.

either u cant read or u cant calculate. Read the news item properly before shooting off. It is 1000/- per day per jawan buddy, which will come to 30,000/- per jawan per month. Let me see the govt pay that kinda money to these unsung heroes who lay down their lives to protect these currupt guys who u elect.

Dear Venuraja, Infosys is one among the most prestigious Companies in India and definitely needs tight security. Let more Companies adopt this strategy. Now about your calculation. Its wrong. The average exps for one security staff is Rs. 1000 per Day, not Month.

What do you know of Infosys Social services and donations. Don't talk without knowing. The only company donates generously to charities in India unless Reliance, Tata and Birla

Venuraj, i guess you are making a big issue out of this for no reason. Infosys has proven time and again that apart from doing great business and doing India proud, the company has taken on Corporate Social Responsibility at a large scale. The company employs thousands of people so it is prudent that they approach the government when they believe the company is under threat. And your comparison about the money that a private security guard earns vs. the CISF doesnt make any sense - the numbers are absolutely wrong. Please check the facts before putting it on a public forum.
