It may solve some social issues..
by Venkatachalam Murugesan on Feb 26, 2009 03:17 PM  Permalink

TATA Nano will fullfill a lot Indian's ambition to have a own car.

In the same way, it will reduce the gap between rich and poor considerably which the gap is very big atpresent.

So for the above two good reasons, Tata Nano should come as quickly as possible..

Let all of our Indian brothers and sisters drive their own car and put their ambition above from their current level..

Regards
Venkat

By the cheap TATA product Indian roads will be deluged. Waiting for traffic clearance will be more. Traffic will move with snails pace. All roads will be clogged. What it appears to be boon for the indians will become bane soon after.

boss, almost all middle class ppl have 2 wheeler now. most of them will switch to this car.

this car is more ecofriendly than a 2 wheeler.

so dont worry. nothing will change.

Last few months India is flourishing in all aspect.Like Cricket -Consistency,A.R.Rahman-Oscar again another feather in our cap is Nano.Knowing the targeted segment ,it is really very difficult to make more affordable to have four wheel on our own.Anyone can make extraordinary luxury cars and it is difficult to make car which majority of people can afford. We salute Mr.Ratan Tata for his effort and he is another milestone for India.I am really proud to be indian.

It is coz of lack of love for your own country is the primary reason Indian cities are so dirty. Leave your chalta hai attitude and start loving and respecting your country. Even in this recession India is still growing and helding it's head high.

Dear Antony,
though i agree to you on the early comments in your statement.
BUT
      1. i am sorry to say that Its Gujarat where the plant has shifted.
2.Its i BJB ruled State which shows 16% GDP when India is at 8-9% GDP.
3.Fastest growing states are Gujarat & M.P ( to your surprise they are both BJP ruled)

There is only one other state which is growing and that is Delhi. But to surprise you all the major decisions are taken by Supream court. ( Removing of Slum, Removing of industries from hart on Delhi,
Finishing of each and every fly overs on time, repairs of rodes, sealing of illegal shops) cleaning of yamuna river)
i am sorry but you also stand with people blinded with communal issues

TATA'S NANO - A JEWEL IN INDIA'S GLORY
by Abhay Saini on Feb 26, 2009 02:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is rally a marvel piece and demonstration of Indians ability to pruce a product at a price range which can bring trillion dollars to India provided we place the product across the world as an export item lest others matches their efforts to notch up the market much earlier than us though the entire story of concept, design, invention, cost cutting and its shine was invented by the top indian brains.

I can write volumes on this JEWEL but the most important aspect of this rare of the rare feat is "Have we leveraged this opportunity to encash on our outreach to international players, our allies in international context, SAARC members and even our next door neighbourer Pakistan as a gesture of goodwill to gift first few hundred cars. This ia a soft move of the "SMART POWER" only a few visionaries can appreciate.

A million dollar thought to be considered by Hon'ble Sir, Ratan Tata Ji who deserves to be honoured by "BHARAT RATAN"

Ex employee of Tata clan.

Ratan Tata deserves a Bharat Ratna
by Bless you on Feb 26, 2009 02:41 PM  Permalink

Ratan Tata deserves a Bharat Ratna the Bharat Ratna, consiering NOBODY,NONE of the WORLD's leading car manufarurerers thought about it. He concieved the conept, nurtured it for 5 years, when all douoted it and at the final moments, Mamata pulled the rug under his leg. But yet he brought it out. Its not only India, -- many countries South Africa and oher many othe asian and african countries are looking forward to it

Tata's aim of replacing every motorcycle to a car is promising, but its not for the Indian infrastructure, our roads just cant be flooded with cars, the out come would be frequent traffic jams, people in urgency caught in traffic, pollution, i wish to have a car but car for every one is not the way to lead our future.. thats a though from me .... samuel.

Ya I agree wid u..but main question is--- Is nano is a good product??
according to me is it not safe as like other cars (means body structure)and after that the main problem ,that we all r facing is traffic (no matter u r rich or not).....so i believe that car does exist but in a certain range(not like that everyone purchase).
and i also feel the emotions of middle class becoz i m too.but car is a dream of middle class.so its a very debating topic..but we all r knw that Ratan tata only deals wid his profits and will nt thk abt traffice probn all.becoz they also thk ki yeh to govt ko sochna hai...

I dont agree. Middle class should not be denied the pride of owning cars just beacuse the govt. is not doing their job. If the rich can own it ...why raise fingers when the rest of the population find it affordable. Again the real cause of pollution in not the modern engines or fuel efficient vehicles.
