High Five to Obama
by sumant kumar singh on Feb 25, 2009 10:44 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its really great to find a straight forward candid approach to address the nation. Initiatives are really good. As India is also facing the same problem the pioneers and pathfinders of the country have to accept the fact that this stagnation is more a mental block rather a physical hinderence in the system. If everyone keep his fist tight and think that other will move ahead than I will come in arena to perform, than this thing will continue unremittingly.
So pull your shocks and move ahead, keep endeavoring, stop waiting for the right time to move, the sooner the better

In AP, the market value for phoren , especially USA returned grooms, are very high. If this person can also show a Driving License from the US, then he is very lucky. Other than that , phoren jobs and phoren living is a pathetic exercise. One is a third rate citizen the minute he steps outside India. But greed for money is a powerful motivator.

Whatever the decision taken by Obama is benificial to Americans and not for the indians who resided in USA There may be first priority for emplouyement to their citizens

So, What else ?

so what do you expect Pradyumna? US is the only country that provides so much freedom and opportunity to people of all races, caste and gender. Do you think our great Shiv Sena or MNS or even our Indian govt allow so many foreigners to be employed in our country without shattering a few BEST buses, breaking several bones of innocent people? Obama needs to do everything that he can to save Americans. But still, the laws and freedom in US allow anyone and everyone the same rights as a citizen in terms of taxes, priveleges, etc. Go to UAE, Australia, UK and other European countries and you'll taste discrimination, racism, tougher laws for outsiders and many many more such pains. So, keep shut Mr Ege and enjoy the benefits that our amazing govt and the other Mumbai based political parties provide to us.

Obama is true politician
by Surya on Feb 25, 2009 10:15 AM  Permalink

May be his decisions create problems to india, but as american he should give first priority to his own country. But our politicians create jobs near elections to get votes. Any way it is bad time for india...

Do not expact more from other country's Govt
by Raghvendra Yadav on Feb 25, 2009 10:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I agree with you and really concerned of that. But, bigest concern is that we indians are expacting more from American Govt and politicians of other country say for exp. Mr. Obama. We are unable to expact anything from the indian Govt and its politicians because we all are not together in raising our voice here in our own country. So, These indian politicians are finding themselves safe and no accountability to perform for their people. They are filling their pocket. We have elections in our country very soon and not a single polical party has made the economic crisis as its first priority? They are still living in stone age of old politics i.e. congress trying to woo Muslims and BJP to Hindus on all fake promises.

God help India...!!!

It is the country of dreams and not reality.
by Tamilan on Feb 25, 2009 10:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

USA is the country of the Dreams and not the reality. They send human beings to space, doesn't have any culture or tolerance to accept the pain of life. Money alone cannot give life, hope they will undertand this lesson from this crises.

Tamilian, so, what do you want instead of a country of dreams? Pile of sh*t that Dharavi kids can jump into? Potholes that you can drive into? Humans packed like sardines in local trains? Corrupt baabus that don't even phuck their own wives without a bribe? I agree US is a capitalist country; but then they make use of that money to provide quality life to their residents. They treat residents as humans. Yes, they goofed up big time with the credit crises; but atleast they had the balls to own up and are ready to take steps to try adn revive the economy. What has our govt done for teh past 60 odd years of freedom after all those scams, frauds, corruption and what not. Shame on India. Shame on us. We are what India is; and shamefully, it's not a bright sight. All we do is lick white skin and subject ourselves to humiliation every single day of our lives. Imagine; a gora film director makes a movie about Indian excreta and bags 8 oscars. How low can we get?
