This is the way India runs
by akchatte on Feb 17, 2009 08:35 AM  | Hide replies

This is the way Cong runs the parliament, the country, the constitution, the democracy.
And some people will still vote for them, arguing BJP is communal.
India is at her peak of anarchy and chaos. There is no true government. No true governance. No true national policy. No true international strategy.
I would definitely vote for a so called 'communal' in stead of electing a corrupt and callous flock of people again and again over.
I, as an Indian, need an experienced leader like Advani, a dynamic leader like Modi, a straight speaker like Rajnath, an elite like Arun Jaitley, a dynamic and yet not rude woman like Sushma, an educationist like Dr. Joshi, an able administrator like Yashwant Sinha, and young leadership like Rudy, Varun, Yogi Adityanath.
There should be a counter-jih@d in our emotions against the jih@d. This counter-jih@d is to lead this nation 'back to future'. - Economically self-reliant, sentimentally proud and militarily deterrent.
Vandemataram.

govt has spent over 100 crores giving full page color ads. in national newspapers showing pictures of sonia gandhi who has no position in govt.

WHEN THOUSANDS OF FARMERS ARE DYING AND MILLIONS DONT HAVE ONE SQUARE MEAL, SUCH SPENDING TAX MONEY ON SYCOPHANCY SHOWS THE COMPLETE INSENSITIVITY OF THE GOVT.

PLEASE PROTEST AGAINST SUCH WASTE USING TAXES PAID BY THE RICHEST TO THE POOREST, IN PROMOTING AN INDIVIDUAL, ON FEEDBACK ON WEBSITES OF PM AND PRESIDENT.

STOP THE MADNESS NOW!!!

Congress Party exists because of surname-Gandhi
by Nemo on Feb 16, 2009 11:21 PM

This is one of the fundamental concern or pillar of success that we should focus to reform India in any form.
1. Did we indeed need a women to be a President India ? Or we needed someone at the most who can think no-secularism, no-religionism, no-regionalism, ONLY INDIANism.
2. What is she doing ? let me tell you my dear friend, just dancing with the tune of corrupt politicians.
3.Those who fought hard to get freedom from British, they never had such kind of dream what we are facing today.
4. If we live in a republic/democratic country why should a family(Gandhi) rule since 1947( except 5 years by NDA) ? Why does Congress party can't promote a new face who does not belongs to Gandhi-family for future PM ? Let me tell you Congress Party exists because of "the surname-Gandhi" ? It's illogical to say that gandhi's are in born leader. My dear freind, don't forget, "Mother of India" gave birth of all time best leaders in our country.

Interim budget 2009.
by krishnamoorthy lakshminarayanan on Feb 16, 2009 10:50 PM  | Hide replies

This budget lacks vision and mission.
*UPA missed the chance to give the stimulus to Indian economy by boosting investments in infrastructure, housing, education, health.
*This budget does nothing to increase the demand for durables by reducing the indirect taxes. If demand is increased, it increases production, employment and government revenues.
*If the government is worried about less revenue collection and increased budget deficit (6% of GDP as against about 3% of GDP estimated), the government should not implemented the 6th pay commission, farm waiver, etc. These are nothing but election gimmicks throwing prudence to the winds.
*The RBI should reduce interest. This would give fillip to housing sector including construction.
*There is no mention of reform in the budget.
*One gets the impression that the Budget indicates which UPA govt would do if elected.
* So before you vote in this general election, think twice before you vote for the Congress.

Mr.Mohanty,
The way u responded to the above message shows your impulsive and unsophisticated attitude. Education should let you learn good manners and the use of proper language, not using abusive terms like those you used in your message. If you want to disapprove any person's ideas, you can express your views in a better way.

The MMS government is the weakest of all Indian government after Gujral and Devegowda.
Just fighting a 'so-called' communal force coloring themselves a real communal of another hue.
Just kick Cong out to the ocean breaking their limbs so that they can never rise again.

Yes fantastic job indeed.
1. Highest inflation in the history of india.
2. Very high real estate prices(did nothing to control it) and common man(about whom congis harp, cannot even think of buying houses).
3. The great Satyam Scam(wherein, involvement of the CM is being pointed).
4. Mumbai attacks, where 200 were killed by militants.
5. Assam Bomb Blast where more than 50 were dead.
6.Delhi blasts
7.Jaipur blasts
8. Umpteen number of railway accidents when our railway minister promises safety to the people. As luck would have it,on the day of the railway budget, you have a derailment and about 15 people killed.

Security of the common man is not ensured by this government. They only want to ensure the security of minorities.

Never allow congress to come back to power.

DID U FORGET THE FOLLOWING POINTS???

1. HIGHEST GROWTH RATE CONSECUTIVELY FOR 5 YEARS ON THE TROT.
2. INFLATION ALL OVER THE WORLD BECAUSE OF CRUDE OIL PRICES GOING AS HIGH AS 140 DOLLARS/BARREL DURING START AND MID 2008.
3. 26 BILLION FDI COMING INTO INDIAN MARKET IN 2007.
3. INDIA ENTERING TO AN ELITE CLUB OF COUNTRIES WITH A GDP OF 1 TRILLION DOLLARS(ONLY 11 MORE ARE THERE)
4. PEOPLE R DYING AND THEY WILL BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE AND WE AS PEOPLE ARE TAKING OTHER PEOPLE FOR GRANTED. IN MUMBAI, 200 ARE DEAD BUT I LIVE IN MUMBAI AND KNOW HOW MANY ARE DYING DUE TO OTHER FACTORS. SO STOP SAYING THOSE WORDS.

With mushrooming of IITs and political interference in it's administrative affairs ... it's only a matter of time before the brand "IIT" vanishes - remember there's only one MIT !
Today , even local Engg. colleges feel they have a right to be upgraded to IITs. Wow !!!

We sd have better colleges than IIT and no need to open IIT. Atleast we sd imbibe there some national values rather than guys sucking of the Indian tax-payers money and then set their @ss in US.

Absolutely. Each college should have their own USP and must be in a position to sustain itself and build it's own brand.

Our leaders lack that visionary to create a new brand parallely so the easiest task is to harp on existing brand and even spoil them. Anyway we have seen what Congress has done for education after 60 years of Independence. Shame on them. the objective of Congress is to keep Nehru-Gandhi clan in chair. Disgrace still people will vote for them.

IITians are no longer lured by jobs abroad...if u go into details u will find the phenomena of reverse brain draining in IITs nowadays. As far as setting their @ss in US is concerned...since they r worth it thats y they r called by foreign firms otherwise a local college goer has probably more intense desires to settle abroad.....Regarding imbibing the national values IITs are much ahead of other colleges...moreover they are a symbol of Indian prestige in foreign countries and now instead of tarnishing this brand we must concentrate on building more global brands in education

Taxation for 09-10
by Yajna Kammaje on Feb 16, 2009 09:35 PM

1 There is iqidity in the market
To boost this Income tax benefits and MRP of all the consumables should have been made avilable at economical prices by reducing excise duty
2 Ther could have been a Interest Holiday for Home Loans below 50 Lakhs to contain increased EMI
3 Service tax anomolies like charging Tax on rentals / etc to be brought under reasonable levels
12.6% is mach higher and ubreasonable
A business which can not get a gross profit of even 5% on turn over had to shell out service tax of 12.6% , which is illogical and absurd
