If one does not exist already.

Gas Regulatory Authority of India.

Otherwise the senior Ambani in collusion with the concerned minister and the captive bureaucrats would make enormous black marketing of the yields from the gas fields of the nation which in reality is the national property.

At the power front for example the junior Ambani has already shown the people of Mumbai a sample of this black marketing of energy resource.

Netas and babus sell the masses to such industrialists when the PM is a weakling.

This is how the swiss banks prosper.

And Bharatvarsh continues to remain "garib praja" ka desh.

gas economy

Chilling of buildings should be done as far as possible with solar energy. The technology exists in India; I have visited a firm in Nashik that has developed a system working by the absorption cycle powered by solar heat collectors on the roof. (In this way less chilling is needed in the first place because some of the incoming heat has been intercepted to power the system). By chilling a large tank of water in addition to the building itself it is possible to continue to provide chilling at night using just a small amount of electricity for a pump and fan; this electricity could come from a battery that is charged by photovoltaic panels in the daytime. I think that what is holding this technology back is that the American, Japanese and South Korean mains-electric air-conditioners are already in production on a large scale so are cheap and known to work, so architects and builders do not want to try anything different.

Don't worry, crooks in our market will find way to adulterate gas too. Most likely they will try to mix air into it. If they do that then accidents will be daily routine, which may affect small neighbourhood.

india can be self sufficient in renewable energy by garnering its solar energy ,which is there throughout the year, wind energy and tidal with thaving such a long coastline.is there sufficient research going on in the above areas so the country can become less depedent on imported fossil fuels.

Sir,

We do not need to go for a research on renewable energy if all Indians are given a little education on use of energy.

When I was a child I used to go in bicycles and I havent touched a cycle in the last 6 years. I am pretty dependent on Car even for a half kilometer ride.

No one can blame me because our infrastructure is so poor that people cannot ride bicycles anymore. Many cities over the world have bicycle tracks where they put up shades for the bicyclers to go around avoiding the hot sun. I do agree that it requires lots of infrastructure and spending, but in the long run this will prove itself to be a big gain for our Indian economy where half of our FOREX is absorbed by oil purchases.

This is just one small piece of saving energy, other issues like scrapping old vehicles, strict control of vechicle checking, education on driving, edcuation on household use of energy etc, etc can make a big difference. Instead of spending too much on renewable energy, which can give benefits in the long run, it will be wiser to spend on education and infrastructure save energy in the near future.

Just my views

In india if we make special tacks for bycycles then u will find it converting into beggers home or foot path shops.
