Indian CEOs should play a key role in reviving the downturn
by R Raman on Apr 03, 2009 08:23 PM  | Hide replies

Its a matter of great pride that Sanjay Jha has emerged as Americas top paid CEOs. This is not an ordinary accomplishment by any standards. It also means that Indians occupy top positions in the world everywhere.

Now the CEOs should play a key role in revival of the world economy by making their institutions turnaround and become an example for others to follow.

yes, the ceo's should voluntarily have their salaries slashed by a 1000 times taking moral responsibility for the global meltdown, as far accomplishments go even a street dog is an accomplished survivor.

capitalism even if based on merit has a necessary evil greed and corruption. indian is an agri economy, we were happier in the 80s than we are now and its hurts to know our fellow indians living lavishly in foreign lands at the expense of our resources.

why have we to know who is who and who gets what! its high time there is transparency in what these indian ceos in america do; i bet they can't be working 50hours a day; we need to know what he got that we ain't got and what he could do that we can't do! this has been on the major factors for the global meltdown, obnoxious salaries for warming seats; does indira nooyi know there is no water to drink in india!! maybe she takes a shower too in fanta and pepsi!!!
