Divisive Logic Part II
by sar des on Nov 07, 2008 01:20 AM  | Hide replies

The fact is that white people commit as many crimes as immigrants in EU/US, etc. The fact is that, compared to US or UK, etc. who are top ten in crime rates per 10000 population, crime rates are very low in India/UP/Maharashtra/all states. UP’s slogan “UP mein hai dma kyonki yahan crime hai kam” is based on stats.

Poor in UP are the same as so many across our country. Indians earn only $950 a year compared to even Thailand’s 3000 and Malaysia’s 6500, not to speak of richer nations of the world.

I went to the US because Mumbai was turned into a slum by bihari skum!

Why would the US kick me out?

I don't go to their railway tracks to do number two like you uncivilized bihari animals do in Mumbai!

I was accepted by 6 universities on full scholarship because of GRE score and my credentials.

The credential that I am most proud is that I am not a BIHARI!!

I didn't waste my talents on studying for public services exams to become a low-level bureaucrat whose retirement depended on his "other" earnings!

Crying??

Every since thakre's people started beating you people up, you are the ones crying like little girls!!

The writer of the article is too intelligent by claiming census on various states. Just he is using items required for damaging other states.
1)He is claiming mumbai woes are because of other states.
Mumbai's contribution to Income tax, corporate tax and other taxes collection is nearly 60% of India. Kindly think about why that much is coming from Mumbai.
Major comapnies(Reliance,Tatas,Birla etc) head quarters are in Mumbai. Thatswhy they are paying taxes in Mubai. No major company's business is in Mumbai. Suppose Tata's major business is in Bihar,Jharkand and they are using thier minerals. Reliance business is in Gujarat. Indian government should change the tax structure. Since last ten years, no major company started their business in Mumbai. Quote census and revenue generation from their states only serve purpose. Really if Bihar and Jharkand stops these industrialists from mining in thier states, India have to import these minerals from other nations at higher price. Any how compare Mumbai with other metro's, it is much below in development.

Right sirisha!

Please accept our apologies and .....

All Biharis please come to Mumbai in greater numbers!

Mumbai was developed with the mineral resources that your politicians stole from you

and sold to Maharashtra!

"ghaattee peoples" stop fighting with biharis! You have no right to fight with them!

You ghattee people bought their stolen resources, now you should allow them to drive

taxis in your cities and clean your sewerage system!!

You are misunderstood by my statement, mumbai developed with minerals of Bihar,Jharkand. Kindly note Mumbai not developed as your are thinking. Compare with metros and even with smaller cities like Ahmedabad,Noida. In Mumbai only slums developed. And also see how many Business houses are shifting headquarters from Mumbai to other cities. Just Mumbaikars are dreaming thier city is most developed, Go and see cities even smaller one, how they are maintaing City roads,Transport system like Metro trains and city planning as a whole. It is time for the people of mumbai to come out from their dream. And also see recent news paper item on poverty deaths of farmers in Maharashtra, I.e., highest in Maharasthra

sirisha,

And who do you think lives in the exponentially "developing" slums?

Your brothers from Bihar!

Nobody dreams in Mumbai anymore!

Life in Mumbai has been turned into a nightmare by the UP-bihari influx!

And while you are at it give up on the farmer deaths/suicides!

Farmers end their lives because they cannot live under debt and don't want to go to the metros to live with mongrels for neighbours like the imported biharis!!

Mumbai wooes are because of influx of UP-biharis. Kindly visit highly industrialised state, Gujarat. Where 90% of the work force are from other states (around 40 to 50% are from UP-Bihar). How Gujarat is maintaining growth rate even welcoming other states workers and maintaing minimum or nil crime rate.
Just Maharasthra politicians want to kept live this issue for diverting real issues like Poverty, farmer suicides, High prices etc. Any how all these politicians will go for sleep after April,2009 elections.

Gujarat needs external work force, Maharashtra doesn't!

If Gujarat is the new promised land, why don't you go there??

Gujarat has Modi! That is the reason crime is down.

If Maharashtra had somebody like him, UP and Biharis would have starved to death!!

You are right to a gr8 extent Sirisha. But I feel that this is an unwanted debate and even the article is written only to justify Divide India Movement . Lets not forget that we are one country and and even Mumbai is not developed by its own resources alone. Writer has failed to mention that Birla, Ambaniz,Bajaj, and so many even film industry all are OUTSIDERS. And even Farmers committing suicide here shows poor picture of state. Central govt. aiding and helping is not from the taxes paid by Mumbai alone. Moreover North is the biggest consumer market. Lets remain united and lets remember we cant become big just by saying how small other is. Present picture has given a bad name to our city. Lets do something more constructive now.

Sidhant,

Can you explain why these OUTSIDERS were so successful in Mumbai and not any other city?

You can find gujarati and marwari business people all over India but they are most successful in Mumbai!

Can you explain why?

If you think it is just the business people who have made Mumbai prosperous, why don't you take them to your state?

They should be able to do for any state what they have done for Maharashtra! But can they??

there is nothing much anyone can do abt it now. india is alredy the third biggest muslim nation in the world after indonasia and pakistan.
moreover the rate of population growth of muslim is twise that of hindus. at this rate in a century muslim populatin will overtake that of hindus. so its better stop thinking of eliminating them and think of living in harmony.

Mumbai's woes - How other States are to blame.
by Cream Cracker on Nov 07, 2008 12:14 AM  | Hide replies

This Article hits the Nail on the head. Why don't Maharashtrians like Bal Thackeray and Raj Thackeray file a PIL against the Governments of UP and Bihar for abusing the Indian Constitution by poor governance of these States, and the Chief Ministers of these States from the time of Indeoendence to date for dereliction of duty to citizens of their own States which is resulting in mass migration resulting in a major demographic change in Maharashtra. As issue of utmost importance in a country which is a Federation of States whose boundaries were based on the linguistic majority principle.

People in Maharashtra have better things to do then waste time filing baseless PILs!

Even a successful bihari in Mumbai doesn't want to associate with his emigrating brethern!

Most biharis in my office claim to be from West Bhangaar or Orissa not Bihar!!

You are right, but coward MNS, SS, NCP, Congress have no guts to take on that. They fear Jihadis, as Jihadis blasts bombs.

Hindus can only fight with hindus and kill each other and punish. Look, how a small case of Malegaon got twisted and few patriotic Hindus are torturing by hindus. It was Hindus, who mad eour country 1000 years of foreign rule.

Hindi Speakers, Speak Hindi, not Hi Urdu

Hindi Speakers, speak Hindi, not HiUrdu or Hi Urdu. North Indian Hindi is not Hindi, which is prescribed as rastra bhasa, language of the union. Sanskrit-moy Hindi is the language of the union. North Indian Hindi s polluted with Arabic-parsi words, and they want to impose on others.

Correct your polluted language and speak true sanskritised Hindi. Else, no respect for such polluted Hi Urdu language from us.
