At least let us encourage a bengali enterpreneur who has the courage to bring out such cars in the market.

If TARA is going to be made with Chinese collaboration, forget about it. Chinese Components` Quality is the worst in the world.

My dear Friend, first thing, there is a big difference betwwen procuring some components and getting into collaboration...Secondly, i am still of the same view, Chinese items` quality is the WORST in the world. If TATAS remained careless, they would surely regret this.

Dear Neelkanth,
FYI ,Chinese quality is much higher than Indian quality standards in Automotive Industry.
Few examples in terms of collaboration are Tata Motors has tied up with a company located in shenzhen of china to get axle design support.General motors and VW are building cars in china only with collaboration .
& No car can come into the market without getting approval from euro 4 level standards which Tara is very well aware of.

All chinese materials are not bad. They make best as well as the worst, just like India. Your Nokia phones and the batteries they use are mostly made in India. Many computer components are imported into India from China. Dont be prejudiced in these matters.

Dear Reddy and dear Buddhiraju..I m not getting prejudiced..i don`t know about u guys but i have first hand experience of dealing with many Chinese Factories, right there in China. I spent 15 months developing some components for my Company. [I m sorry i can not take its name.] The Big names that u gentlemen have mentioned is all because these Manufacturers have kept the lead control in their own hands..
