Nothing will change
by suresh kurup on Dec 21, 2008 07:00 AM  | Hide replies

Nothing has changed….Nothing will change.
Indian system, the people who run the government, the people who choose governments have become so rotten nothing can be changed.

The only time when India seem to be moving on track was when Vajpayee was the PM. Indians will suffer the lose of his leadership in years to come.

After the Mumbai massacre there was talk of Hindu-Muslim unity. Everyone can see that it was a non starter anyway after the Antualy episode. All the Bipartisan ship promised by the congress did not take off. Pakistan was handed a hammer by Antulay to hammer India with.

Look at how the people voted in the Assembly elections. After the Gujrat riots people of India punished the NDA. Media was an active participant in it. But after the Mumbai massacre the ruling UPA was rewarded and the Media has already forgotten about the Mumbai massacre. If the good guy does something bad the people punish him but the bad guy can do anything without the people raising any eyebrows.

Pakistan is surely going to go down the drain and it seems that India will go down that way at least by half. India can only be saved by outside forces. Indians democracy will not throw up a good strong leader. Indians are against such a character. They prefer weak, mean, spineless leaders.

Think rationally stop blaming
by Arun on Dec 21, 2008 12:34 AM

I think one of the most important things we should learn from these attacks on Mumbai is that one should start thinking in a proactive and a rational manner. The media just goes on its business of creating hype and sensationalism rather than focus on the real issue at hand.Though one can generally accept the rule that there was no coordination between the Navy,Coast Guard etc and there was a general intelligence failure, one should consider some things.
1.When some unknown person comes through a boat, did the Mumbai fisherman alert the local police? If they alerted the police, why did not the police act upon it.When you somebody suspicious, one should have doubts.
2.It was circulated upon foreign media(BBC)that the terrorists stayed in rented houses around the TAJ!!Just because some local agent/guy comes to you and says that these are my friends or relatives, as a houseowner will you rent house simply for the sake of money? Will you not sent ask for their details and sent their photos to the police for verification?
The problem is the we as people are all at fault for not safeguarding our own lives but we just want the government to act for us,isn't it?
Too much over dependence on the government and abdication of responsibility on the part of citizens is not going to help our country.

Dear Friends tell me sincerely : Does anyone believe Chhagan Bhujbal is better than RR Patil???

Remember Telgi took Bujbal's name in narco test and whole of Mumbai knows this guy is openly in the books of underworld.

For me at least RR patil was honest and starightforward howsoever people might have castigated him(rightly) after 26/11.

But what we got by removing him?? Bhujbal??? Just ponder!!!!

Bhujbal is certainly worse than R R Patil. No one knows Bhujbal's source of wealth - he is an ex Shiv Sena fellow yet friend of Telgi, great supporter of OBCs, his son was also accused in some cases. All in All Bhujbal will be a negative influence.

I - The Tax Payer of this country, demand to know how and where my tax is being used. Tax Payers are answerable to govt but govt is not answerable to tax payers ?? Isnt this opposite of what it should be ?? Is it not worth a thought that the people who are selected to spend our hard earned money are basically getting elected by the votes of the people who dont even pay any tax ?? Our tax money is spent to woo such public, buy votes ?? It should be mandatory to produce IT returns at time of voting instead of STUPID WORTHLESS Voter ID cards which anyways are unauthentic.... Even if a person does not pay tax, he should be made to file blank IT returns for this purpose... LITRACY SHOULD BE A REQUIREMENT FOR ELECTION CANDIDATES... ITS A VERY RESPONSIBLE JOB AND ILLITRATE PEOPLE ARE DECIDING HOW THIS COUNTRY"S WEALTH IS TO BE UTILIZED ??? What is the judiciary system doing about this ?? SAB KE SAB MILE HUE HAIN.... This country is GOING TO THE DOGS... NO ONE should be above the LAW but SOME PEOPLE ARE.... LAWS ARE UNBIASED but THEY ARE... COMMON MEN are a country's foundation but NOT IN THIS COUNTRY. Here Common Men are FOR FACING BRUTALITIES AND DIE FOR VESTED INTERESTS.... If we still allow these corrupt politicians to ruin our country and our children's future, we should DIE of Shame... I, as a Father, as a Tax Payer, as an investor in country's business houses through stocks, as a law abiding citizen and as a Human, demand clarifications.. Its TIME for INDIANS TO RISE. JAAAAGO

Tax payer ???? Do you know how many tax payers are in India ? It was less than 1% of the population couple of years back today it might be less than 5 %. LESS THAN 5 % !!!

Politicians know this. I dont like it but its a fact. Politicians dont care about tax payers politically they are insignificant - why do you think educated people go outside of India? Money can be made in India thats not the only reason. Nothing is going to change.... If Indian government sits quiet Pakistan Army will again provoke India . they will keep doing so till India reacts ..this is what they want Pressure valve - Release pressure to act on the western border.

Mark my words you will see the same set of Politicians back in Power in 09- dont underestimate the current crop ( Sharad Pawar /Laloo. these guys have nurtured their target audience . We the educated middle class may feel let down angry but the reality is it simply will not make any difference. Go to the rural areas - the aam admi is happy with these JOKERS!!! They have got farm loan waivers . subsidy from the taxes we pay !!!

Question 1: From when Pakistan turned as a terrorist country? Who was supporting Pakistan in all those years where Pakistan infiltrated India and and Afghanistan??

Question 2: The Parliament attack and Mumbai attack...don't we think both are benefitted by one party??

Question 3: Unless our intelligent agencies are clear of the source, there is no meaning in holding hands and burning candles. Do we have an independent intelligence agency??

Question 4: Are our political parties and leaders ready to say a big NO to violence and bomb making?? Can the home ministry reveal how many dead in home made bombs inside our country? (At least in Kerala we have heard many such accidents).

conspiracy man Paul..with all its faults India is a very peaceful country considering 1 billion people live here within a diversity unprecedented in history. There are millions of Muslims in India who are coped with well except for jokers like Antulay. compare this with say Denmark or Holland, which has problems with a mere less than million Muslims.
What you must understand is that Islamic terror is the only greatest problem in the world right now. Everything else can be addressed.

What difference does it make to us as we have not lost any close ones in such attacks....we all will talk about such attacks which is very simple in a way to sit and give commentry on the attack, put alligations on our good 4 nothing politicians etc etc....and after a couple of day all vanishies in thin air.People of pakistan which is a very much "A TERRIORIST COUNTRY " but its because of Great United states of America...it is saved......,know that to have such attack on India its easy as Indian Goverment and Indian people are not going to do any thing and only thing they will do is to pat their back in name of Unity ,Burn some candles ,have some gana bajana and raise funds for the peole who have died and forget them, abd our politicians will fight within themselves and create a mockery of themselves. How many of us know ,that how many brave heros have died during Kargil?? ,Do any one remember it? I suppose none. In short ,people of our country will never be able to fight for their right. They only want to be RULED by other people....first like Britishers....now hopeless ministers....and the pakistanies........

I AM IN FAVOUR OF WAR !!!!!!

Finish them for once and for all !!!!!!!!!!
