Delhi has a lot of contributions from these IITians for projects like BRT(Bahut Ruladiya Tune), Flyovers etc. And also IIMs contribution for implimenting Sixth Pay Commission the indigenius Payband tructures; like karolbaghs Shiva-band, Mohan-Band, Sub ka bajadiya band. Still our defence people reject it on the face and not got their new pay.
The interview was a refreshing joke on a slow morning. My only question to this guys is - can I get what u have been smoking if I make the rounds in a IIT campus??
The above interview is full of self-praise and empty rhetorics without a single elucidation of a breakthrough from IIT or its graduates. IITan are losing ground competing with non-IITans and this is a pathetic attempt to hold on to their ego. Grow up guys and show innovations which everyone would know you by. Stop talking - start doing.
Dear non-IITians, Why don't you contact some professor in the USA who has had both IITians and non-IITians as his students. Only he will tell you who is better.

My brother-in-law is an IITian and MS from Purdue, and an MBA from Chicago. Here I would say, as per some IIT guys at MIT, doing Phd,I talked personally, that Indian students are better in theory exam and students from other countries at MIT are better in practical. Dude in US fortune 500 corporations, many CEOs, yes many are not from Harvard, MIT ot IIT. It all depends on your hard work. So even though you are not from IIT or MIT, you can bring glory to India. No need to go to top MBA or engg. schools to bring glory to our nations. Thos who have created history or prove their mettle in business did not study engg. or mgmt., like einstein, mother teresa or anybodyelse like dhirubhai ambani or Bill Gates, Narayan Murty, Ajim Premji....and there are many examples.... Moreover those who made to IITs 25 yrs back were not good students, as per a CEO (An IITian) in a top company in US, yes it was my direct conversation. Even when I was in India working for a navaratna PSU, I have seen an IITian, he was a dump. If you are an IITian, you are brilliant but not necessaraliy you are the only in India. Give respect, you will get respect.

Hey u ....frogie has seen whole world but i guess u r still in indian gutter
What a joke. Most IITians say that they are better than MIT, etc. But why then do they run off to MIT to do graduate studies. In fact, most IITians end up at not so good schools like syracuse and Rutgers etc, not at MIT. Sure some do end up at MIT, Berkeley, etc but I like the way, all IITians think they are MIT material even when they go to Oklahoma for garduate school. HA HA.

Thats a good reason.. because some iitian like me begin to believe that education is not only about brand or job but about seeking knowledge in life which many of other schools do provide ...

I can agree with that except most of those IITians ending up in Oklahoma, Syracuse etc wanted to go to MIT but didnt have the brains to get in.
By your argument, people who go to non-IIT schools are even better because they realized upfront that its not about brand but about seeking knowledge in life which many of the other schools in India do provide.
I am just teasing you. I am a IIT graduate but really don't like to advertise it. I chose to remain in India and went into NGO work for a while, now doing something else.

Yes u r right Shivsena......they are not better than US universities...or uk or australian...uni...........these guys are just ignored fools...
India may have done a lot to IITians and IITians may have done a lot for themselves. But, I highly doubt that they have done anything more than any one else. Very sceptical about these claims.
IITians are just like everyone else when it comes to doing somethjing for india. Nothing extra - just ordinary.
