Why should I get rich?
by MS on Apr 25, 2008 07:46 AM

I see the generous side of American businessmen and then I see narrow and selfish side of super rich Indians. Maybe I better remain what I am instead of becoming a cheap self-delusional guy with vulgar amount of money.

Rediff should post some useful tips of how to become rich India. How Ambani's, Goenka's and Mallaya's became so rich.

I also urge rediff editor to see if he could find or justify any sense in the so called articles published.

I have a doubt,Did this ambani get time to sit on a chair or he is permanently stick to it. Also I this he is the one holding all the poor indians money. The govt has to make him to give back the poor indians money back. Then our poverty can be wiped off.

Lessons?
by Sachin Bhat on Apr 24, 2008 01:45 PM

Well guys I read below someone taking abt K P Singh - You want to know stories about K P Singh..there are lots. First of all he just got married to the right girl to get the DLF onto him. He has inherited all this DLF and wealth from his inlaws . And his inlaws have made all this wealth by screwing up poor peasants and farmers holding vast agriculture lands. No one talks about the miserliness that gets into getting rich. It is indeed true that a degree of bad deeds go a long way in making you a rich person.
Remember we are all unique. Reading such stories will not make us rich. We need to excel in what we do. Rest assured - what you deserve will follow. Foremost seek happiness... :)

Billion dollar stories
by Salil Kumar on Apr 24, 2008 01:09 PM

rediff edit, For once, your readers have a point here, unless the whole objective of this story was to be sarcastic. Seriously, the statistical odds of these guys coming through are so insignificant for the vast majority of 'normal' people. And yes, one could definitely make the broad generalisations like all these guys have had tough childhoods, come from broken families etc, maybe they are all even short etc which are all too well known.
