Most bank Managers are fraudsters ....
by Arjan Jethani on Sep 08, 2007 12:42 PM

All nationalised banks automatically come under the RTI net ... However most of the banks refuse to give info about any fraud, their managers have committed hand in glove with fraudsters.

Stragely the RBI supports them and also refuses to part with information as to what action is being taken ...

Even when the amount involved is 100s of crores ... Even one 36 banks loaned over 1000 crores to a single fraudster... Read details at ...

www.plead.in/pnb.htm

PLEAD is a NGO formed to combat corruption.

by Whistle Blower on Sep 07, 2007 07:08 PM  | Hide replies

I can see so much hatred against state-owned SBI cards. Are these real or private bank criminals have infiltrated to post such message (so that public will come to them !!). Can anyone blow more whistle on this ??

A good ruling !
by AAMEC CHEMINEER on Sep 07, 2007 06:57 PM

SBI Cards are formed as a Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) with SBI as major shareholder. NBFCs donot come under RBI's customer redressel banking ombudsman system. So, SBI was acting single handedly in all issues on its own with its partner GE. This ruling has reminded its responsibilty in fast growing customer centric market.

SCI Credit Card Scandal
by Ravindra Rao on Sep 07, 2007 06:56 PM

I was cheated by SBI Credit Card. I was first told the card is free. Then I got a bill for RS 800. When i reminded them of offer I was told it is free only if I did a purchase within 15 days of receiving the card. When I showed them the date I got the card they replied they calculate from the day they despatch the card. Next I was cheated for the ADD-On Card which was supposed to be free. They charged me Rs.260
SBI card is a crime syndicate. They still are trying to cheat me although I cancelled my card. I often get calls each time from a different address warning me of action if I do not pay up some big amount by a certail date though I had cleared all the dues. The General Electric & SBI JV is an attempt to cheat Indians using American & Indian criminals and the worst criminals are the MBAs working for the crime syndicate.

SBI deserves this
by Reji John on Sep 07, 2007 05:16 PM

What I would like to write here and the names that I intend to call SBI Cards have already been written and called to some extent. I would like to call them a few more names but can't do that for obvious reasons. Even I was called several times by them for cards but refused their offer and told them I do not need a credit card. (Even today I do not have a credit card) After repeated requests I applied for and was surprised to get a SMS message early on a Saturday morning which said, "We regret your SBI Card has not been approved. Reasons cannot be shared but in no way reflect your credit standing. (What else do they require...my moral high standardness... colour of my skin...my network of friendship...to hell ewith them). You can reapply after 6 months." My foot. Get lost SBI. Just proved again how arrogant and unreasonable public sector banks can become. Stop minting money from the saving of salaried people. Go to hell with you "0% surcharge across all petrol pumps". "Make life Simple" change that stupid punch line. Feel like punching those responsible for SBI Cards and those behind those promises which are never delivered.

SBI CARD VERY PATHETIC & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
by dr nakipuria on Sep 07, 2007 05:13 PM

SBI CARDS service is very poor and pathetic, they donot pay any heed to customers, their website www.sbicard.com is very poorly managed,no page opens, customer cannot know status of his/her bill in time, their customer care 24 hr call centre render almost no service, ersons behave rudly and donot do what they promise, most of their branche donot have drop box for cheque paymentsdonot provide any form to link saving bank accounts with credit cards, often their statments reach late and ATMs donot accept money for cards .
Inspite of writing so many times they donot pay any heed to emails, their web site is under repair since last 06 months.
Please look into matter,SBI and RBI should listen to us and py attention to customers otherwise this Bank and its associate compny should not be allowed to work,Mr.Chidambaran be awake and Mr.bansal do something to block such fraud service of our premier Bank after all you are our Finance ministers.
