this is a good move
by Campro on Jul 16, 2007 01:35 PM

this is generate all round benefits, not only to the BPO operators and employees but also to the surrounding population.
the road and train connectivity will improve if there is more traffic to these small towns.
there will be increasing focus by the people in these small towns for better infrastructure from the government.
there will be peripheral employment that will be generated in large numbers especially in the services sector to cater to the new employment generated.
i can hardly see any disadvantage from this move. in fact, to increase the momentum of this shift of BPO to smaller cities, state govt can look at incentives like lower stamp duty etc;
bigger centres like bangalore, hyderabad, chennai will continue to be the real magnets for growth but they are getting saturated and those of us who live here are feeling the crunch.

Jindal has put bellary on global map and we really appreciate Mrs.Sangeeta Jindal for this .instead of getting lost in the party group of rich she has done great job in empowering rural woman. this initiative should be a sole vision of Sangeeta. Evry rural lady knows her initiative in and around JSW steels.My sincere thanks and best wishes for her. During the time at which India is all set to get a woman president i am sure every effort of corporate bosses better half gets engaged in such initiative woman could really be a power to recon with. Bellary has given its support to woman.Bellary did elect a lady who could have been Prime minister of india but for her great sacrifise and it still enjoys the privilage of having sushma swaraj a day in a years ie.during varamahalakshmi as daughter. it gave a woman cabinet minister Basavarajeswari in central cabinet during P V Narasimharao. bellary has given to India prof.U.V.Rao a great scientist. Ragava a great Artist Bellary BEECHI a great writer with humour and the country with visionery businessman like Janardhan Reddy of OBULAPUAM MINING,Rahul Baldota of MSPL ,ANIL AND SANTHOSH LAD of LADs The entire family of HOTHUR group, Dinesh Singhi of Bharath mines, Mr.S.K modi of BIOP,nagaraj of VESCO,Bhavani Prasad of kumaraswamy. NMDC with the best Iron ore and it boasts the largest skilled manpower in hard industry. i am sure Mrs, sangeeta jindals initiative will be a great success.My best wishes.
