Infosys is into PR

These cyber coolies cannot invent a single product like say Windows, IPhone or Google. Forget Web 2.0 services. The moment the dollar fell they went into a tizzy. Naryanmurthy is the biggest publicity monger and megalomaniac. What the heck is Chief Mentor?

This shows your poor knowledge and behaviour.

I challenge you sir, that you cannot start a software business, even in 1980 s with Rs. 10000.

In 1991 a 286 was around Rs. 80,000/-

About Infosys and other big software companies
by Joydeep Karmakar on Jan 01, 2008 08:45 PM

All business can bloom when there is market for it. Apart from that land at throw away price, 10years and more tax holiday, sqeezing blood from young generation in BPOs, good paying clients, earnings at international standard and paying the least in the world to software personnels will make the profit book glitter anywhere. These companies should not be hailed as according to me they have not done or doing anything great. The one who should be creadited is our human resource consisting of common man who toil in these companies and earn billons for the company. If it is IT Bill gates,Warren Buffet are the names which should be respected not NRN or Premji. They are plain businessman who has jumped into a right business at the right time and thus are now a days billonaire. I challenge anyone who want to say in their favour.

by vikas jadhav on Jan 01, 2008 07:15 PM  | Hide replies

Had it not been for Infy and TCS, we Indian would still be seen as some one from land of snake charmers and elephants unlike a Knowlegde Worker, a techiee, Hats off to Infy for giving us Indians "RESPECT" globally. Notinhg in life will be 100% perfect but Infy is one of Best Indian Company which leads from Front.
Long Live Infy and TCS - India's True Multinational - Let be proud of them atleast if not be like what they have done to this Poverty Striken Nation.

First learn to walk.....then you can run. It is not an easy task to carve a niche for yourself in the totally west dominated industry. Asian nations have just started learning the technology( thanks to outsourcing)and you can't expect them to rule from day one...........

Secondly, the capiltal investments required are very high........

Moreover, from where do u think these so-called 'inventors' draw their work force from?
