Firing outsourcing
by SreenivasaRao K. on Dec 27, 2007 03:36 PM  | Hide replies

It's this cold attitude to people that will turn them away from companies. Like death, parting also should be peaceful, not violent, which will turn against companies. Thanks god, we live in India!

This is just adding the glamour to the firing process
by Vineit on Dec 27, 2007 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

They are just glamourising the firing job.
They should think from the human angle, as the person at the other end, is going to be jobless the next day.

they are just highlighting the firing process.
should also talk about the compensation.

This is the cost the software companies included in their salary package.Employees should be always ready for such happenings. You cannot have all the benefits. Anyways, you are fired when you are not needed anymore i.e. you are incomptent in companies' book.

India shall have no pity

For years a lot of western countries have had employees who are not even a fracion productive as a lot of us highly productive people.
When jobs are lost it is usually the non performers who get the boot.
In any company the bottom 20-30% are non performers. Why should India and China not get these jobs? Why do we remain poor? Are we not contributing to these counties' economies? For years they have outsourced labour(slave) and raw materials(forced) from us by exploiting us..!
Let India RULE THE WORLD

INDIA CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT THE INTERNAL DEMAND GROWS. ONE ECONOMIC SANCTION AGAINST INDIA WILL DESTROY THE ENTIRE ECONOMY OF INDIA...

US and other countries tried Economic sanctions against India in 1998 and they all repent it now because it hurt them more than it did to India. Actually in developed countries where cost of living is very high the employee is given hell lot of money which is enough to have 10 employees in India with average skills and contributing atleast 5 times more. Infact it is productivity enhancement or downsizing the cost, take your pick.

But yes I do agree going forward we need strong internal demand across every sector to sustain the current growth rate.

Outsourcing-whatever pains--------------------
by lightheart on Dec 27, 2007 02:31 PM

Most developing countries are getting assignments for raising their business to new income opportunities. Production, productivity- outsourced, manpower outsourced, now doing away- outsourced - is like showering love or blessings to one and all that are competent to fetch it. Strange is-a pain here, delegated and is called for because it brings bread and butter. The world is revolving around opportunities, pains and gains and vice versa. And it is Business Science, Management Science. Security, law and order are very vital for most rewarded and comfortable. In fact-cyclic upsurge of one or other dimension is a natural phenomenon. Sensitives must turn insensitive and vice versa. The balance is scripted in the Universe, what to say about hiring or firing, retention or outsourcing, truth or lies, manage or manipulate.
Seasoned` seemingly are best prepared for all wheathers, slowly look for warmth of cosyness.Great are the ones, who are consistent, persistent and love peace at heart, place or work, at work, or no work.
