US Firms awestuck by the Gita

US firms awestruck by the GITA:Undoubtedly its the greatest. It has to be. If we believe in GOD's existence its delivered by God. In true sense its not delivered. Its simply manifestation of GOD self since according to Hindu philosophy everything is Maya including GOD. GOD is atrophy of SHAKTHI (Shakthi in segregation as Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara-Trimurthys). GOD means Srishti for G (Generation); Sthithi for O (Operation) and Laya for D (Destructoyer). In-fact this is well quoted by some one in his comments elsewhere.
But one shall note that can Human beings practice Gita (In what ever field be it Governance/Management/Education/Health so on and so forth). If so why we have the best era -Krutha yuga then Good era - Tretha Yuga followed by Average era - Dwapara yuga and lastly worst era - Kaliyuga. Does it imply that we will see Krutha Yuga or Kaliyuga turn into Krutha yuga with the evolution of todays human knowledge? I only want to say that any srishti that has misery is not divine srishti call it Maya or by any other name but if God is to be believed misery can not be part of Devine sristhi, even GOD self calls it MITHYA. Mithya for some is true for some one else false. GS

Your statement that "everything is Maya including GOD" cannot be accepted as Truth on basis of Bhagavad Gita and Vedas. If GOD (Krishna) was in Maya then He would not have delivered Arjuna, how was in Maya, by speaking BG. Krishna is Divine and His words Bhagavad Gita is Divine.

Krishna is the Supreme Personality of God and this is accepted by Narada Muni, Vyasadeva, Madhavacharya, Shankaracharya, Srila Prabhupada and all liberated souls.

After hearing BG Arjuna fully surrendered to Krishna and followed His instruction. So I humbly beg you to read "Bhagavat Gita As It Is" by Srila Prabhupada so that you can understand the original message of Krishna As It Is, free from any motivated and wicked commenteries of bogus Gurus & Sadhus.

Hare Krishna!
Your Well Wisher

Narendra

One of the greatest contributions of India to the world is Holy Gita which is considered to be one of the first revelations from God. The management lessons in this holy book were brought in to light of the world by divine Maharshi Mahesh Yogi and Sri Sri RaviShankar, and the spiritual philosophy by Sr. Srila Prabhupada Swami and humanism by Mata Amritanandamayi Devi and Satya Sai Baba.

indians have heard of the gita but few have read and understood it. the reason:
1: most often, u hear the hype about the gita before u read the Gita. obviously, u r disappointed when u actually read it n it doesnt hot u in the face like a bestseller
2: the book is seriously HUGE. to get anything out of it requires a whole lotta time, patience and refelction. how many ppl can do that?
3: as with most religious books, most translations and explanatory books published till date just translate the sanskrit to english n leave it at that. all u get is english text that seems to be a whole lot of hot air
4: i dont think the Gita was written in a way and form understandable by all and sundry. Krishna was a manifestation of God, and Arjuna, a highly educated, very intelligent prince and warrior who, by my reckoning, should have been at least 40 at the time of the battle. so the pre requisited to understanding the text is pretty high.

it takes a guru to translate the Gita into something tangible and user friendly. its only now that such ppl r gettin into the news.

There is little doubt that scriptures do teach well
many aspects of duty at home and office for benefit of society in a variety of ways and need to be much emphasized and practiced to extent possible. But what stupefies me is the "so called" experts who teach the subject have seldom faced ground situations and solved problems !! Most of them are theory pundits !!
I have had occasion to confront some specialists and pose a few questions; sorry could not find convincing answers at all. It is my humble suggestion that only really successful managers are allowed to teach, IF they are so inclined; maybe part time so that you come to know how to tackle field situations rightly.
Yes conditions change and adaption too required sure.
I say this with all sincerity as one who has been thro various stages in MaNAGEMENT AND adhoc TEACHING.
Shall be grateful for readers' views !!! Regards,
Peayen Mani

The essence of Management Theory and Practice as taught by Bhagwad Gita can be summarised as follows:
1.yadh bhava tadh bhavathi(as you sow, so you reap)
2.Thena vina thrunamapi na gachchathi(Ultimate Result is in God's hands)
3. Thathah Kim(Then what should be the attitude. Never get stuck up with issues/probles/failures and even success).
GOD: G: Generation of thoughts/ideas/creativity/dreams
O: Operationalising those thoughts into action
D: Delight or Destruction. Delight - if those thoughts are put into operation with positive frame of mind. Destruction-if mind is allowed to be swayed by negativism/ego/arrogance/jealous/pessimism.
Bhagwat Geetha starta with sloka Dharmakshetre...(dharma means virtues) .....san_jaya(jaya means victory) Where there is virtue there is victory. In the middle of Bhagwad gita there is a sloka- na hi kaschit kalyanakrith durgathim thaatha gachchathi(Lord Krishna says that if a man does even a small amount of good things in life I will ensure that he will never grieve in real sense). The last sloka of Bhagwat Geetha says- sarvadharman...........maa sucha(maa sucha means ..don't worry).Essence of BG: Where there is virtue victory is ther
