Certainly Modi can do better for the gujarat as he enjoys solid support of people of gujarat. It is up to him to use the opportunity in right direction. Also after getting defeated, the so called secularists still never miss any chance to defame Modi. They should understand that it was not Modi but people of Gujarat, who reacted after train incident. Also now after the election results everybody is proved wrong except Modi.
modi seems to be in the right spirit .well ,he is for a good purpose .let him do it .He is the ceo of gujarat unlimited.Under his leadership ,i think gujarat will be a state of high repute and willl draw international attention as it ay reach new heights in the field of education, power, industry etc.Modi is a world class performer .
Sir, I was really pleasently surprised to know that chief minister of gujarat has taken the initiative to privatize almost all sectors of industries as well as education. This step will certainly boost the image of gujarat as it has been always an enterprising and industrial state without liquour. Thankyou ashish
There is considerable scope for doubts in an unbiased mind about the acts of omission and commission of the Modi government in handling the Godhra and post-Godhra violence, after reading the media reports, the reports of the NHRC and the report of Concerned Citizens Tribunal headed by Justice Krishna Iyer. I commend the reading of these reports to CII. An electoral verdict ( Narendra Modis statement that people of Gujarat had given their verdict by voting him to power), by itself, does not legitimize the suspected partisanship of Narendra Modi government in handling the communal riots, specially when the political environment of the state was vitiated by a communal divide. Nor can Narendra Modi, like an ordinary citizen , claim innocence unless proven guilty in a court of law , but , being a public figure, must be perceived to be innocent beyond any doubt, which obviously is not the case.
As CII is not merely a business body but should have a role in upholding good values, such as justice, rule of law and good governance, it will be well- advised to avoid engagements with Narendra Modi , or if such a meeting is unavoidable, to bring home the issue of non-governance vis a vis the riots, whenever an occasion arises. I regret that during the so-called interactive session , the CII chose instead to forcibly remove a human rights activist for raising questions to Narendra Modi, and to the CII for inviting him, and that the audience showed insensitivity by protesting against the questioning. I support the protests of the human rights activist.
modi is a great BJP leader with great ideas, he has all the ability to take gujrat to no ! spot from No 2 spot, however the pseudosecualrs will never be happy with him
now when slowly all the CM's are realising that the today's world is for CEO'S not for CM's,after Naidu,Krisha & even Shinde,Modi has tried in a positive way to undo the image of him in media.i believe in exactly wjhat he said ,but same needs to be enacted very much and for that Modi and his collegues need a real serious effort.
Modi has nothing to be ashamed of.He is doing his job as a CM to the best of his ability.Let us not forget he is a democratically elected CM with absolute majority in his hands , which has quitened down all the pseudosecularist who infact play caste politics and other games.Gujrat has suffered enough and Modi is taking the right steps to bring gujrat back to it rightful place in the indian economy which is at the top.Gujrat has all the right ingredients to a successful state and with Modi at the helm I am sure the day is not far when gujrat will be the pride of India
