Our generation drinks soft drinks like water. The current report on CSE shows how the two big gaints are looting on the health of countrymen. How can we let them play with the future of the country.
I agree there should be no second thinking and these brands should be banned throughout the country.
Again the laws must be made rigrous so that they produce the product of standard quality.
If Ms. Narain's report is correct, then what do we drink ? In India's insecticide infested land, the truth is 'Water water everywhere, but not a drop to drink'. Maybe Ms. Narain recommends importing drinking water from America, since she has written that 'no insecticide is there in the colas sold in America'.
Time has come for all to realise that our health is more important than the spending a lot of money on these drinks which has no nutritional value whatsoever to us. Even young children are getting addicted to these useless drinks and spoil their health in the long run.
Hope and wish people switch over to seasonal fruits and juices and drink more plain water and kick out these drinks keeping in view their health.
We must remove these items from our fridge and should not think drinking / serving these stuff is 'Prestige Symbol"
By this we can save our health and prevent money flow out of our country.
i feel india should copy the same laws set in US and other European countries,here.if the same case is found in US,money worth millions can be sucked from the 2 companies.
Its out tradition and culture to have natural foods.Drinks such as fruit juices , tender coconut contains all the vitmains and minerals required for healthy life , As mentioned in cigarettes coke and pepsi should have statutory warning labels in their products for the safer level of consumption. We have to shift our focus towards non soft drinks improving agriculture business.CAn we do it ?????
I think this time Govt. must do some thing serious for this. I hope this time some solutions will come. Govt. do not let down indian health. Foreign company has earned a lot from us but now it is there time to pay............ Dear Friends,now it is in our hand to make india healthy and lets take oath TO BE A PURE INDAIN, EAT INDIAN, DRINK INDIAN...........
