... I think 60% is fair enough.
No need to worry about looking for a job. They may already be super rich.

Purpose of Education
by Vaitheeswaran N on May 12, 2019 10:40 AM

Many wise people say the purpose of education is to build good personality and character in an individual. Scoring high marks is known have no correlation to success in life. More often rote learning in pursuit of very high marks affect the emotional, mental, social and physical well-being of children. Let children grow up as creative persons participating in sports , arts , literature along with developing sound conceptual knowledge of subjects they study , irrespective of the final marks they score. Let all of us come out of our Obsession with marks and help children for their holistic development and life long wellbeing

Highest marks scored
by pradeep berry on May 12, 2019 10:18 AM

A person becomes happy when he receives what he needs, so this indicates not the marks scored, but the happiness scored, in a deprived world.

We r here to simply encourage our children instead of scolding them for low marks which will fill their spirit to get more & more by studying harder.

Percentages
by surinder anand on May 10, 2019 01:49 PM

In good old days if somebody got a 75 then that was the talk of the town/state. These days people are getting marks above 90's & 95's as if parshad is being distributed outside a temple. unfortunately they get marks but their knowledge is shallow. The understanding of the subject in long run is missing. It is high time the authorities realise this.

My son's CBSE class X reult
by T Pal on May 10, 2019 01:35 PM

Hi, my son's CBSE class X result was also similar, around 60%. But I was also super proud of it. Because he suffered tremendously in academics since class v and could not pass in one chance in any of the classes in spite of long study hours and his best try. So I was very relieved and happy when he could pass in one chance and we even arranged for a party!
