Indians are very creative
by Sankaralingam Selvam on Apr 20, 2018 11:52 AM

for example in film industry, there were no sophisticated equipments in 50s to 70s. The magical pictures in those times are a testimony to this.
Also we dont have the luxury of good libraries, fanstastic government funded universities like west still we excel in many fields.
for example all the metal refining process were more than 300 years old in India and this statement is to push us down.

Lack of Creativity
by MADHAVAN V on Mar 04, 2018 10:23 PM

We are getting emotional when some body says we lack creativity . Creativity and talent are being confused by respondents . Inventing a plane, MS, FB etc is creativity . Working for these companies and running these companies is talent .

ABSTRACT THINKING AND Creativity is in-built into our diverse culture (albeit in-discipline that itselF breeds "JUGAAD" ). On the contrary the western culture is more organized and lacks creativity . 9 out of 10 times i can predict a westerner's next steps than say only 2 out of 10 times a indiAN's next step. We need a litTle bit more discipline, organization and westerners need much more cretivitY

Just because we make no noise when abused, should not be taken as weakness. Yes in a complicated society, there may be exceptional cases, and circumstantial, and political. India is changing, and our creativity is being exposed, and the presence being felt. The more number of start ups, skill development, innovation hubs, incubation centers, entrepreneurship being shown by the young, ranking of Indian business and ease of doing business by many international accreditation agencies is but a small proof. The dynamic and visionary leadership of the country makes a hallmark.

He is so very on the mark

That we think and act predictable and that we are great at aping is a given. We are consumers of world creations and for our size and population have given nothing credible to the world to follow and change things for the better. Modiji was creative when he asked the developed world to come and make in India knowing well that our R&D and creativity juices flow too slowly. To me we lead the world only in Yoga and Music. These are our sole contributions to the world. For Ms. Vidya Srinivasan to remind the writer about the tow Indians leading two gigantic organisations was amusing for the fact that both were educated and bred in the US and not here. Thanks Rajesh malhotra

Indians lack creativity
by satishgs on Mar 04, 2018 02:19 PM

Not exactly. Indians don't lack creativity but what ever they create it is generally suppressed due to reservations. Directly related to who creates and who takes the credit for it.
