Why must models be skinny..boney and extra thin when majority of people are average wt.and good looking under their skin.why should these poor girls and boys do all sorts of things go thin..0 size etc..why? They look unhealthy too.many times.

This was not part of the indian culture before and people who see the models as a loose character to get instant fame not only model even many actresses of yesteryears were accused of the same with lead directors and there are many instances of it also on records, be it the dirty picture in hindi as an example. Cinema highlights whats is the thinking of the society at present. Its mostly limited to the fashion models with skimpy dresses which they keep wearing day in and out. Its not the dress they wear but the way they behave and out wardness makes people in society to think of them that way. Dress is not an issue its the character and attitude they carry makes people think wrong of them. indian society is still to accept all kind of work women do be it in office or elsewhere still some think them as secondary, even it happens in family functions when one wears skimpy dresses when most of them are wear traditional ones
