The local police who stand near railway stations to assist the passengers to go to their destination are not able to curb the menace of this situation. There should be some mechanism like payment by swipe card so that auto drivers do not charge extra than permitted. If they are genuine , the aggregator taxis would not have come into operation or existence at all. Since these people are cheating, such taxix and autos in some cities have come and are found to be reasonable since they are bound to do minimum trips under their agreement.

many taxi driver cheat the people. it is same throughout the country. in kolkata if there is rains or in evening in normal days taxe driver dont go by meter they over charge. that is the truth. they area prersent all over the india.
