For people like "Pune-based Suhail", there is no affect to this decision, all this thing he mentioned, it was possible before also. Just that he could not find a store which accepts card payments for buying chicken.
Show some compassion, its not about you, its about people who do not have access to such payment systems. Very pathetic post.

jan dhan was introduced to put rs 2.5lak per poor person. this is part of rs 15 lak promised. Though 25 crore jan dhan ac claimed by Govt -every poor man says he doesnot have ac- then whose account are these 25 crore acs. if 25 JD ac is true, all poor had to do was deposit their rs 1000 &500 into ac-but looks like majority of these acts are those in urban area?

You did not understand his post. He is compassionate enough. what he means is that if you can avoid going to the bank for new notes then do it so that others who really need money can get it. Actually your thinking is pathetic

I went to draw from my savings account on 16th Nov.2016 at 10 AM and was asked to wait in senior citizen's queue with the instruction to wait till i am called. I was allowed to enter the bank at 12.15 pm when the bank announced "cash out" and no further payment can be made. I insisted for recording of the refusal on my cheque. the bank complied with rude gesture of showing the door. At the age of 75 I could not wait further and left the bank. The refused cheque is now a memento for me.

debate to the BJP spokesperson on the demonetization (in the Mathrubhumi Malayalam news channel) : The PM announced the demonetization on 8th November and claimed that it was intended to be a sudden surprise move to catch all black money hoarders off guard.
Yet, on 27th October, the Lucknow edition of the Dainik Jagran (a Hyndi newspaper) published a report that specifically said that the Rs 1000 and Rs 500 currency notes are all going to be withdrawn shortly and that they will be replaced with Rs 2000 notes !
BJP spokesperson : This is a big lie, a very big lie ! Mathrubhumi news channel, being a responsible news medium, ought to be courageous enough to show visuals of the said report in that newspaper ! Do not spread blatant lies like this !
Moderator : This is not a lie. However, I do not have a visual of the report at present. But I shall certainly send it to you. My question is, if a newspaper has reported the demonetization 2 weeks before the PM announced it and claimed it is not known to anyone but select members in the govt, how did the reporter of a newspaper manage to lay his hands on this news in advance ? And if a newspaper could get wind of this move in advance, will it not amount to insulting the intelligence of commoners if you insist that only select members in the govt knew it before the announcement ? Its good that our Freedom Fighters had not considered their personal sufferings/grieves for the sake of India's Independence otherwise we would have remained slave for infinite time. These people don't want to sacrifice their personal comforts for the sake of Nation / Bharat / India. Lack of Nationalism. Those who don't want to co-operate (i.e. doctors / hospitals etc) should be punished immediately to establish rule of Law.These people don't see (or don't want to see or pretend not to see) what benefit Nation is getting by this demonetization.
