by kailashsingh Kharayat on Nov 15, 2016 11:30 AM  | Hide replies

Bank staff are issuing tokens and also suggesting to come after few hours. In the Axis bank at Nerul, bank is offering tea , drinking water. There is no que for senior citizens. People are courteous to each other and are not trying to jump ques. It is only the are biased news channels who are trying to show the bad part.

My friend and his family is stuck in Kerela since he was unable to travel to assigned railway station due to lack of money on the reservation date. It took two days to get money from ATM and new tickets to come back next week. One week lost with lot of trauma.

Why citizens hold such a large amount in form of old notes in their homes? Why they do not deposit old notes in their account at once and withdraw to get new notes?
