Jawans of BSF, ITBT, CRPF etc are the sons of the farmers, common men and poor. The persons who are in queue for hours are also the poor/common men. Is it the duty of the common men to suffer everywhere in the name of patriotism. Those who made the policy by sitting in the A.C. rooms are not the sufferers. They sitting in their arms chair and AC rooms and appealing the sufferers to show patriotism.

It is very much true that always common man has to be sacrificed. Whether it is about standing in line of control or in the queue for new currency. It happens everywhere in the globe. The fact or target is to give value for life to everyone within the country. This move is towards this way. Please have patient and wait to see the resolve as committed by the PM :-)

The DNA of Rediff not allowing positive stories on Modi..
by MS Vasan on Nov 15, 2016 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

The DNA of Rediff will not change...
It has to highlight the negative stories of anything Modi does, even if they are far and few.
Why dont you show the positive stories..?

Banks are not supportive
by Ramnath on Nov 15, 2016 12:03 PM

This problem is created by all bankers. They are not customer friendly. 10s, 20s, 50s & 100s are available in RBI. Bring them on war footing basis and load all ATM's across. Problem will get solved immediatly. But bankers least bothered.

exchanging old notes
by mk saxena on Nov 15, 2016 11:54 AM

Exchange old notes. After 1.5 Hrs in Que I reached the counter, gave filled form and copy of PAN card, also showed original PAN card. Dealing bank employee verified in his system and returned my papers saying that you have already exchanged it once, second time not permitted. I told him that I have not exchanged it earlier. He told me that he can't help because entry is available in the system. I had to come out with out exchanging old notes. Possible that Xerox operator kept one copy of my PAN with him and gave it to some one for exchanging on my name. PAN carries signature. It is not difficult to approximately copy the signature. I felt cheated.
