Shorn of jingoism the data of 10 largest meat-eating countries [Belarus, Canada, Israel, Austria, France, Spain, New Zealand, Australia, USA and Luxembourg] points out to an average life expectancy of 80.64 years whereas the same span for a male in India [home to more than 70% vegetarian population of entire world] is 64.16 years & for females it is 68.48 years. Let us not twist hard core facts for preaching the superiority of any particular way of life!

Well said.But life expectancy does not depend only on meat eating, it depends on many other factors.India is a poor country compared to the countries mentioned by you, hence those countries can not be taken as benchmark. The facts in this article should be taken in general terms which is, vegetarians live longer than non-vegetarians
