Tax the politicians for not keeping election promises
by Pallab Banerjee on Jul 26, 2016 02:34 PM

If we can record each and every election promises given by our politicians and tax them for not unfulfilling, then probably the promises in the coming would go down drastically.

Really good suggestions to implement added to it. i want to mention on the building violation during constructions. Builders are ready to pay penalty if its within the 10 -15% of proposed plan but they miss utilizing this at nearly 40 to 50% and bribing the officials to get the clearances and in return extracting the same from the flat owners.

problems for any govt to implement above taxes
by cattamanchi chaitanya on Jul 26, 2016 02:03 PM

Mainly for Population tax : Indians who have most number of kids are the ones below the poverty line , and mostly people who are not that educated . So means you are asking to tax people who are not even in the tax bracket ..

How about Jumla Tax. This should be exclusively for political parties who so ever it is, if they have made any promise and can't do it, should pay tax for this.

Apart from above I do feel that Gutkha and Cigarate should be banned completely.

Above suggestions should be implemented
by Jayaprakash Balan on Jul 26, 2016 11:25 AM

Its a shame that when everybody is talking of development, prosperity and seeing India on top, nobody is ready to address the most important issue plaguing India's growth, that is population and corruption. Even Modi, though talking big big things and giving vision of a bright India is not touching the most important aspects, i.e. population control and corruption. India is not a country where its people listen and follow kind advise and suggestions, so we need an Hitler rule where utmost strictness is implemented in population growth and corruption punishment, be in urban or rural, any religion, these two aspects should not have any mercy or excuse of literacy or education or anything else. No more than 2 children should be allowed. One more aspect to be tackled is discipline of hygiene and environment. Strict punishment should be given for those dirtying any place or any property and those damaging environment, even if it is in the name of development. Only then can India truly develop or the vision of Modi become true. Though Modi's Gujarat is termed as a role model for any state development, it is still way behind in environment, hygiene, happiness index of people, population as compared to some states. Given a choice people doesn't prefer to move to Gujarat than get settled in Maharashtra or any Southern state.

Imlementation

But who will implement these taxes since our system is so liberal that we can force to obey rules only to the persons who follow. There is no law for those who do not follow (these includes most of the politicians and leaders of different parties).

Yes, very right. And similarly is the situation in taxation, it is only for 2% of India population those who pay, for rest all services and free. They are all at liberty. Shame on Indian system.
