ONLY MANAGERS EARN 4 TO 6 LACKS -- ENGINEERS EARN LIKE 20 K TO 25 K PER MONTH with so much work pressue and politics . Even a rickshaw driver earns better than this -- so engineers pl stop working honestly . and work for MNCS as they pay well .

Engineers don't get 8 lacks mr dear /THERE are companies where Engineers get salaries same as that of a rickshaw driver / companies which provide 8 lack salaries are very rare -- INDIA IS ONLY A DUSTBIN WHERE THE GARBAGE OF POPULATION GOES ON INCREASING DAY BY DAY .

by kapil on Jul 07, 2015 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

it is very easy thing to study, many think not possible to pass. All one need to do is read news papers both national and local regularly, it should start from class 8th, all other things are regular only. Of course good communication skill is required for such people, for that all one need is to read novels and biographies and auto biographies. Renu seems to be understood the same much earlier hence she got second rank.

One can't say Renu wasted a seat by quitting the medical profession and joining the Civil Services. In fact any degree or rather any skill one learns could always be helpful in future in many ways. She could double up as a doctor as well as a Civil Servant even if the former role is very limited compared to the latter. Both the services are noble if the intention is to serve the people with dedication and integrity.

Strange but true
by brian crasto on Jul 07, 2015 11:49 AM  | Hide replies

It is strange that film directors, actors, producers cricketers who dont have much education make crores compared to well educated IITians, doctors IIMS. Its ironical but true. Some industrialists who are just graduates make in millions and billions. Does higher education really make a person rich. There are more fans for actors and cricketers, and hardly any fans for the educated. No doubt that the nation is known as land of morons.

Everybody love power

Whatever you may say but nodbody can deny the fact that arrogance is always built into the power, at least my 34 years service I did not find a person doing the things as per the spirit of rules/need of society, they do things which looks good to them. Civil servant are serving themselve and we (public) has to stand with folded hand in front of them, can not cry otherwise they (civil servant)will irritate, don't tell truth or show the mirror, you will be in soup..Believe it or just go and experience.

Renu Raj

Congratulate her for- (i) Ruining 1 medical seat. (ii) She joined Kerala State Government and started studying for UPSC. Ask her what justice she did to that job except taking leaves on various occassions and making career for herself at public cost . The exam is tough to crack and that is the reason why we appreciate the candidates. Ask the real question as to what they really contributed to the nation except making very good career for themselves, amassing wealth and power. Nothing wrong in doing good for yourself. The real question is how many of them really contributed for the cause of nation. I know many medicos and engineers who attempted UPSC as they were lured by power, position and the money that follows with it. The other thing told by them is only bluff that they want to solve bigger problems of society. You remember Miss India contest, where every contestant in Bikini comes from very conservative family and wants to serve the society as mother Theresa.

simple but powerful, she means, there will be lot of questions when in interview about daily life, one need to answer well, that is why I said news paper reading is a must from 8th or at at least 10th standard. another thing is when one answer lot of questions would come related to that so good communication skill is a must especially those from south since they are not good in Hinidi.
