In a country where mass copying in competitive exams in many parts is more as a rule than exception and where Vyapam like admission and recruitment scams abound it becomes difficult to believe that no unfair means are ever used in the various elite administrative services exams. Often it is seen that many of the toppers are connected to IAS/IFS lobby directly or remotely through friends etc. or belong to those elite families and could have connections to have access to and advantage over others in getting to know more than other general people. This is not to cast any aspersions on the topers but given stories of dishonesty tumbling out in the media all along relating to competitive test so much so even judicial competitive Tests are not spared suspicion persits. Recently even a top UPSC official was in the news for all wrong reasons. Given this background somehow the suspicion that the wards of elite class could be getting away with unfair advantage vis-vis the students from lower class of people always persists.
congrats,, we want more doctors to join other proffessions,, because indians dont deserve these honest hard working doctors,, they deserve those crony doctors who have studied medical on their fathers black money,, and are only interested in harming you by extracting money from you,,
flee govt. medical people flee to other countries and proffesions,, ththis is no country for you
Hearty congrats to Dr Renu Raj on cracking and topping the tough Civil Services exam in the first attempt itself. There could be challenges galore in your career, but carry on with your dream job. Best wishes.
The problem is that youngsters lose their ideologies and principles as they grow up especially when they start getting resistance from the public or vested interest groups etc. Surrendering your principles under pressure is the norm and the few who resist the trend end up bearing extra load beyond their capacity and succumb to it. This has to change. There is no mass resistance against exploitation, corruption etc. Anyway, good luck for all those who have noble ideas and inclinations. We should remember that every individual has both good and bad tendencies buried into his psyche. Only thing is that right kind of tendencies is stimulated in the individual by the appropriate environment created by the society...!
