don't the critics of this article have anything better to say or do? Here she is putting down her experiences for any one interested in the topic. If you guys don't appreciate her effort, just keep quiet and ignore the article.

Hello Friend, sad you are writing such posts to a lady when you can see she is responding to posts. Please show some maturity. Any girl will get hurt with such comments. There are numerous sites to write such posts. Not on public forum hurting/insulting a woman. Hope i have not hurt you here. I' am sure you will not do this again.

1 long year!
by Sundar Balasubramani on Jan 29, 2015 01:07 PM

Huh....i dare think couples now a days cross this landmark of 1 yr after marriage! Have come across people thinking of separation as early as 3 months after marriage. Sad gone are the days where E*G*O takes a back seat. Adjustments are a NO NO now a days. I' am happy despite having fought many times for simple things, me and my wife have been matured enough to sustain. Touch wood, we stay with love forever. She has been a d*e*v*i*l and a d*a*r*l*i*n*g to me ;)

One year after marriage

In your earlier columns you'd said you'll be staying with your in-laws after marriage. Just wondering how that panned out in one year.

treat your spouse as your best friend
by pady srinivasan on Jan 29, 2015 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

After 18 years of marriage, I am realizing a simple fact - your spouse has to be your best friend - and keep telling them ( and yourself ) this fact for them also to realize and act the same. Then ego will not come into the picture.
