Marriage

Divya, you seem to have got married into a very traditional family. That is the real problem. If your husband and inlaws believe in modern and positive thinking, you will not have the problem. You can still change them by your positive attitude and influencing their thinking in line with your thinking.Do not become subjugated. Then ,then they will consider you as a slave.Be confident,be yourself and above all take care of your loved ones well so that you can get love in return!

Hi Urvashi
My in laws are traditional, but they're not orthodox or conservative at all.
Post our wedding, the cousins have bonded well and the families have come together.
So, most of the social obligations are purely out of love...but sometimes, it becomes difficult to attend all social events and keep everyone happy. With time, I hope I can handle these tiny issues better.
Thank you very much for your kind wishes dear....:) Lots of love!

Aptly said,I am quoting you here:
the true test of marriage lies in nurturing the desire to live with the same person and rekindle your love for each other despite the limitations.

Girl - You will go a long way

You write and express your thoughts very well. Only a few people have that ability. Keep it up!

You will go long way in life - just keep writing. I can see a young new emerging writing star in India.

Marriage!!!!it's like a Newton’s third law.

hi.hru divya,i was reading your all the blogs at the time of your marriage, that time after reading your blogs and i was scared & nervous cz my D day was 14'feb 14 hahah.. very next month of yours, but after almost one year, TODAY i realize that im happier than before and she is also happy with me. Marriage is like a Newton’s third law. “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction” its like give n take give him love and he’ll love you too, just a matter of fact it’s a small lesson everyone should learn

Thanks for sharing the fact (though covertly) that you're not married, Mr. Syz.

This is the best phrase in a relationship, particularly after a marriage.
