Human? More Deadly
by RCSastry on Jan 16, 2015 03:36 PM

Goldsmiths Elegy on the Death if a Mad Dog comes to mind. The Human Beast, now on prowl everywhere in every form, is the deadliest. Wild animals ate Sadhus before them, for they follow their ordained Dharma.

Truly heratening
by Navin B Joglekar on Jan 16, 2015 01:22 PM

These women are truly serving the country and making all countrymen proud. The only thing that worries me is their security; they're most probable to be attacked by poachers and hunters and for that what the Govt. is doing. At least the Govt. should ensure that these brave soldiers of the country are protected by insurance so that if they can be covered monetarily when any unpleasing incident happens.

I can see some long sticks in their hands. Are they expected to control poachers with it?

Wild life

The only way to preserve/protect wild life is capital punishment for anyone who is caught. It is not just those who are caught killing animals but even those who help or try but fail to kill, also must be given death sentence. Anyone caught with any part of Wild animals must be also given same treatment. Only such draconian laws can save the wild life in India.

add this to your valid point..the importance of population control. The ever increasing population has put a huge strain on the eco system and man-animal conflicts are ever increasing. Can all the parties rise above their petty politics and make a national policy on population restricting the number of children to 2 per couple...?
