The only way to preserve/protect wild life is capital punishment for anyone who is caught. It is not just those who are caught killing animals but even those who help or try but fail to kill, also must be given death sentence. Anyone caught with any part of Wild animals must be also given same treatment. Only such draconian laws can save the wild life in India.

add this to your valid point..the importance of population control. The ever increasing population has put a huge strain on the eco system and man-animal conflicts are ever increasing. Can all the parties rise above their petty politics and make a national policy on population restricting the number of children to 2 per couple...?
It seems some girls have joined the STPF, so have some guys, one has been shot by a poacher.
Why not highlight the entire group instead of only the women? I understand they are women and it is not the norm in India, but they applied for the job, as did the guys.

what's your problem..it is normal for men to join such forces but may be it is the first time women have joined this high risk job..so it certainly needs to be highlighted and appreciated.
