Challenges
by Moni RS on Dec 24, 2014 07:24 PM

The so called challenges in corporate sector is almost impossible to meet and many of them fail multiple times forcing them to leave, so it is the unhealthy nature of challenges that is forcing people to leave !

The most powerful reason for quitting is nothing else but POLITICS in an organization. Employers or employees, can never stay w/o politicizing the organization, just for keeping one's clout & achieving personal gains. Period.

One sided Article 2

After reading most of the comments it seems that most of the views expressed are in direct opposition to this article. Looks like most of these so called management experts who write these kind of articles do not know the sentiments and the experience of the vast majority.Looks like they have been sponsored by some organization to write such articles and confuse the employees.

I have heard this career BS too often. The only hard thing you get out of a so called career is money.Money helps you fulfil your responsibility to your family and build adequate security for your old age. If by switching jobs you can make that happen faster who cares about a career. When people forget even Gandhi who will remember us even if we become a CEO of an organization. So my advice to young people is try and make as much money before 40 because these so called organizations will replace you with younger people. Only 1 or 2 will become CEOs. Don't waste your time and energy chasing mirages like a career. There is no such thing. The only thing important is money in the bank account, your health and your family.

I agree 100%. I dedicatedly worked for 15 years for a firm. Founders just sold the company and minted money. Buyer just didn\'t want any old faces. Finally company shut down.

Yes you are 100% right.Instead of teaching employee to stay on the job despite negatives, Companies must try to eleiminate the resaons why one want to leave the job. Companies should focus on creating friendly environment, give appropriate salary, skill development and productivity.Employee will stay longer if the organization is good.

Organizations keep you if they need you and throw you out without a thought if they don't. So why should the employee have any loyalty to the organization? Why should an employee take on something extra when the organization is not willing to give any extra compensation? Organizations have acquired the knack of making employees contribute extra without paying them. The employee has no stake in the business nor he gets any security. Hence it is perfectly justified that an employee makes the most of when the going is good and if that means switching jobs then so be it.
