No problem with ghee
by Ashish Sharma on Nov 25, 2014 10:21 AM  | Hide replies

Pure ghee is perfectly fine for health, much better than any of those highly advertised refined oils (no company will advertise against the refined or vegetable oil products).

It's also a myth that ghee always increases fat. Do people really care when they eat junk food or excess of non-veg or egg items. they can eat loads of chocolates and feel good about it, but if they have to eat any of the Indian sweets they just make faces and talk about calories.

Any fat that goes into a semi solid state is bad for health that includes ghee.

ghee prepared the vedic way.
by Connan on Nov 24, 2014 02:25 AM  | Hide replies

If you prepare ghee the vedic way by chrning curds and then extracting butter it is better then any other oil, not to mention the 1000 benefits from it, it problem is the modern way of making ghee is to extract the fat out, sell the remain milk as 2 percent milk and the fat as butter which is bad.

And how do you think ghee is made, it is butter that is extracted from milk first and then ghee is mage by heating butter until all sediments settle down at the bottom and ghee floats on the top.
There is only one way call it what ever you like.

Aha ha ha.

Whole grain bread and godness, there is no comparison, between a freshly made roti and a bread which is made god knows when, not to mention the fact that there are another 100 chemicals added to those breads just to keep them from going bad, bread made without additives goes stale in 2 days. looks like a advertisement by some big bread making companies.
