Dear author , kudos for your intrinsic knowledge about Indians traveling abroad. I am sure you are an NRI or veryyyyyyy frequent traveler and has accumulated knowledge on us and also must be a self risen man traveling First class in top rated airlines !!!!! or you are trying to make a joke on first time travelers who go abroad to earn or their relatives visiting them. Before you throttle your tongue you must put your mind into Gear , my dear and also write similar article on people from Western countries / Africa / China and Mid east. If you have that comparison ( off course you are widely traveled) pl write next article today itself so that we all can see how idiots we are!!! Jai Hind ( this commenter is an NRI studied in leading Engg college & Management Institute of India, working in TOP management of MNC and I love my Indian fellows as I keep comparing them with rest of the world).. Shame on U & Rediff

Hats off to you Raj. This article reminds me of a book, on similar subject. It was titled Mother India by some Madam Mayo. It was published long ago , during British Rule in India. The author is truly trained mind set of Macauley. The article is in bad taste and frivolous.

A few things the author has missed:
1. Ladies will jump into the swimming pool in their salwar-kameez! Who cares about bikini-figure?
2. The same people who litter and spit everywhere while in India think 100 times over before doing it when abroad!

well, I think the writer is on dot. Perfectly right. I travel a lot and see many of my countrymen doing exactly what is written (some points are valid even for me)
