Somebody please tell the "topper" that you don't 'give' an exam, but 'take' one. A common mistake of Hindi speaking people, literal translation of the Hindi phrase. May be the CAT exam itself is to be blamed, which choose the future managers and leaders based on the ability to crack 2 level maths questions.
Even worse rediff itself call her "topper". May be, it is okay, after all we are Indians only :)

You think it would be better if they were chosen based on lang skills? The problem is that most exams in India focus on elimination rather than selection - blame it on skewed demand supply ratio!
