Great Manglik to score 100 percentile which is not any easy effort when the cream of the Country is appearing. 100% is different from 100 percentile and thats great. All the best in future endeavors.
Even if one scores the highest marks (100 percent), he/she cannot be in 100 percentile. She would have been in the 99 percentile meaning that she scored amongst the top 1 percent population. 100 percent people cannot score less than you as you would get excluded in the count that way!
Percentage and Percentiles are different measures. Rediff and its readers need to understand the difference.
There are 16 students who got 100 percentile in CAT but the media/Rediff projects the only girl in that group. What sin do the other 15 boys did and why they were not appreciated? Why are we obsessed with eulogising only the female everywhere and unfair to the males always?

Hi Sundararaman Subramanian, the reason neha's achievement is significant is because she's the only female among the 16 toppers this year. Also no female has scored 100 percentile since 2009. Hi, I suppose you are author of this article. I would suggest you should contact one of the successful boys and bring out his part of the success story as well, which may have another dimension and would look more balanced also. Thanks....
