well statistically, rape has not gone down in india. It will go down if women accept the way they are and don't get carried away by the propaganda of the feminists. accept that you have a certain strength and a set of weakness. you will never overpower a man physically, so act smart, be safe.

I agree with you.All this talk by feminist have resulted in a warped view of reality. The Views that hold good in the west cannot be copy-pasted in India as each strata of society thinks differently due to different levels of education and their own and different social norm of each community.
I think we are seeing only one part of story, It would not be possible to rape a women by a single man, either girl had consent or might be she had consume alocohol, proper inquiry is needed from both side

Would you be willing to let a woman from your family walk the streets at late night? By your statement, that woman would be impossible to rape by a single man, since she would not be drunk or give consent.

Are we going to argue on why for women and not for men and let the women exploited till men learn some moral; Better to start taking precaution while other actions are still to be started.

Justice or injustice is later part dear brother, this is about preventive habits. Coz once it is you can only punish the guilty at most but cannot restore the respect and confidence to the victim. So nothing wrong it we remain alert and smart to avoid being victimised by evils roaming in society.
The effect of wealth and Internet on society is showing now. If you add the antiquated mindsets and paternal attitudes, the cocktail becomes deadly.
There is little or no use adding or amending legislation, if we are in denial and don't address the real issues with a single minded and revolutionary approach.
Hopefully the meaning of a cleaner India, Ganga, evoking Mahatma, etc. are registering on people's minds. I hope because I have doubts that people are listening to anything other than what they want to hear - jobs or better jobs, houses and better houses and wealth and more wealth.

If propose to ban on obscene material available for free, a class of society will start crying in the name of freedom and in no time, as debate of modern Vs traditional will spark. you pick any of the Mahesh bhatt or Ekta kapoor movie and observe the contents. This kind of freedom lowering bar of morality day by day and leaving a bad impact on generations to follow. It must be limited some where otherwise such crimes will test new numbers everyday.
