after banning english medium schools colleges atleast in hindi states and specially in governemnt run colleges engineering and medical incl iit and iim and medical colleges ..then only should these states must ask for only hindi as medium iim ias or whatever ........ ro ias seats be given to states wise and qouat for all states and state shoudl run exams in their states and select from their own langauges next ias for all india
To defuse the tension the criteria of educational qualification should be amended from Graduate to under Matric by which all will get equal opportunity and there will be no discrimination of Hindi or non Hindi and all will be an IAS officer and administer India like our Politicians.”Mera Bharat Mahan “.

Why not create a separate and distinctive service for these people and call it HMS instead of IAS. This will be Hindustan Maladministration Service.
Students brought-up on a diet of rote learning and exams which only require them to regurgitate the info they "crammed", find themselves severely handicapped when they are faced with questions requiring analysis and critical thinking.
The protesting students have alleged that the text used for RC passages has been terse and difficult to understand. But, that is what the RC questions try to test -- your ability to make inferences, judgements and conclusions out of the given passage besides understanding the gist and tone of the author. Why not test aptitude in local language..when separate qualifying exam for English is already there...simple question...protest is all about this...let english exam be there but aptitude should be tested in local language..

Why on earth Hindiwalas should get undue advantages which is denied to others? If English is the only medium, all candidates from all areas of India get equal opportunities. Because IAS exams are taken in Hindi and even interviews are in Hindi, Hindiwalas get unfair advantages. Thus, Hindi must be abolished in IAS examinations.
When East India Company came to India for trade, they had problems documenting the transactions and doing proper accounting. Initially they hired writers, but as the business grew, quality of writers was not good enough to run the systems.
So they opened a Civil Services college in the year 1800 in UK to train young British students into the arts of running the business systems. At the end of the course students were graduated as Civil Servants and posted in all British Colonies around the world. Just like IT in the year 2000 many young brits competed to get admission into the College.
After the East India Company collapsed and Imperial British took over India, Civil Services became key and ran the administration aspects of Taxation, Registrations, Engineering, Social Welfare and Maintenance sectors in India.
Our Father of Nation and Father of Constitution inherited the legacy of running these Systems. They followed the same British System of Civil Services.
Now we have coaching centers training students on how to crack the Civils Test.
Fundamental flaw with Civils now in India is the Age Limit and Reservations.
Ideally there should be no age limit for joining Civil Administration, qualified and bright Indians will crack the Test easily and due to their exposure and experience they will be able to run the country effectively.
Its a shame that even in 2014 we are following the same old school system of selecting and training young bureaucrats in India.
It is high time this concept of merit pushed by the forward castes was junked once and for all. Forward caste meritwalas have been running the country for last six decades. What has this merit achieved. Zilch, large parts of India are totally failed regions, there is no development in any field of science and technology, farmers are committing suicide in droves, economic terrorism by trading communities is increasing day by day, terrorsists and militants rule large areas, Bangladeshis by crores have infiltrated the borders, Pakistan remains as defiant as ever, Sri Lankans commit atrocities against Indian fishermen at will. If this is merit, please give me 'unmerit.'
