No chance of booing Mullayum. Instead Thank Him for driving voters to BJP! Looks like he was afraid that his son could be dragged for rapes and could have been hanged.
When he came to politics, he wanted to stop communication in English, though he sent his son to the English universities for education. Now he wants to have provision for rape, so that the influential ones can molest our sisters and mothers and can get away.. We very well know how slippery is our law..
Can woman's organisation constitutional experts explain one simple question. You say that all are equal under constitution. But then why should women claim special privilidge like reservation in all walks of life and special laws to deal with woman related cases? On the one hand women claim equal status and on the other hand you women want special laws to deal against men. Is there any fair play in woman's demands? These are the fundamental questions to be answered in a straight forward manner without condemning any body for posting such fundamental and questions.

That's because people like you don't give them equal status. A Man can easily pee on the wall on the side of a busy road even if it is uncivilized but a Woman cannot walk out in short skirt because it is provocative. Do you call this equality?

All have equa rights but are not allowed by society to enjoy them equally. That is why special arrangements are needed. The words "equal before law" have a double meaning, and the matter refers to the difference between the two meanings.
It is fairly obvious. If all are not equal then who is that super human authority to decide who is higher and who is lower in law ? Is there any proof that men should be the higher ones ? Why not the women higher and the men lower in law then, if all are not equal ?

One cannot criticize a representative as if the views are his own views or for his own views.
Fact very clearly is that what he said is the view of large numbers of people. Whether we agree or disagree with the views, it is a waste of time to criticize the person who brings it to public knowledge. Basically he has done the job of whistle blower for these views. All must thank him for publicly revealing the views of some sections of the people of the country.
It is after all no secret that India is the world's oldest and most primitive society. Civilization is a long way off, perhaps never to be found in the whole of India.
For archaeological reasons too it is better to try to create small pockets of civilized attitudes instead of trying to reform the entire country. Future generations are entitled to receive an undisturbed sample of ancient history. Ancient history must be preserved. Living people are mere vessels or transporters of history, they must not peep inside or try to change it.
