cv in 6 secs !
by anil dhawan on Nov 03, 2015 11:04 PM

I'd like to add tht the situation is bad since proper attention is not paid to getting the right talent. Like they say " if u offer pea nuts u get only monkeys". HR has a much bigger/deeper role to play n all mgts need to realise this fact.

80% of recruitments are internal
by brian crasto on Nov 12, 2014 10:04 AM

Most of the recruitment except in govt organisation are done internally and recommended by friends relatives, etc. So what remains are 20%. In india HR is not given much importance. Most of them are working for money and not for grooming the candidates. They are mostly meant for issuing appointment letters and do mundane jobs like salary slips, leave etc.

in india ability of a person is pushed behind for caste, religion,sc/st/obc. and above all if somebody is already there for you, then you need nothing, like rahul or vadra.just keep aside everything.

'collaborate' your resume and learn more?
by Pavan S on Mar 06, 2013 12:36 AM

Or is it 'corroborate' your resume and learn more. I think before preaching proof reading and doing spell checks one should do it themselves!

Show your caste/religion first

In present India first you find out the caste/religion of the Company's MD/owner and align yourself accordingly. OBC is the current flavour.

If u've "strong connection"inside any organization and if ur salary demands fit for their policy then any fool can get job easily and it happens.
