IITs & other Universities

It is not that only IITs are best but there are many other universities in India, which are equally excellence. In my service, I happen to work with many IITs, who joined with me in 1977 but they appear to be more cunning than delivering work. They did not develop work culture in those departments and always used other officers for their own benefit. There may be exceptionally brillant IITians ,I do not deny but present IITians also failed as no one reached near Noble Prize.

And nobody from IIT will ever get a Nobel prize now!

A majority of IIT alumna pursue their MBA degrees and end up working for investment banks!

Statistically, this is devastating for the chances of getting a Nobel prize as the number of IIT alumni pursuing R&D falls significantly.

Unless investment banking becomes a Nobel prize category, the chances of an IIT alumnus getting a Nobel prize are slim to none!

Useless Assessment

These are all useless activities done by a bunch of jockers who do not have any work but survive on the concept of fingering through IT-Key. There are many students and researchers in the Institutes across the country e.g. in Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Cultivation of Science, Calcutta University or in mamy obscure universities etc. but always there is extra hype for IITs. Educations cannot be branded like a soap.
