This is a man who is a true Bharat Ratna. Working selflessly to bring up the youth of our country. Has the government ever bothered to recognize his value and contribution to the field of education?

Mr. Mehta; you R dumb. Only in India, you can become any thing you want. In no other country you have this advantage. Please do not criticize just for the heck of it!
the students helped by Anand Kumar must pay back (being teaching staff, paying cash after joining duty in companies/govt.)to get the institute continue and grow more to help more poor students.
Govt. is insensitive to all SC,ST, backwards, where needy are hardly getting any benefit, as all benefits are snatched by sons/grandsons of earlier beneffited class. This can be seen everywhere not only in admissions but in jobs too. Purpose of reservation to bring deprived class is totally defeated today.

U R in fools paradise Mr. Agarwal! Just compare opportunities in US & India especially for undergraduate courses & the opportunities and you will know. Also, I see this article getting repeated every year after IIT admissions are closed! While the efforts are ladable, the country's contribution can not be ignored! My India is great!
Mr Anand kumar should start this type of classes in other state where there are brilliant students not getting chances to IIT due to the financial condition

It could be difficult for Anand to start this in another state.. but more of such gifted teachers should come forward and government should back such people.
First saluting to Anand Kumar Sir and then to students, really amazing to read this and as they complete their education they contribute by keeping themselves non corrupt like Mr.Kejriwal. all the best to all and particularly Anand Sir.
This is a really good article considering the highly negative and pessimistic news coming out of the media rooms everyday. I hope the students pay back in some way to their guru and this country rather than getting on the first flight to US after graduation.

It would be very interesting to have a follow up of the students who have graduated from IITs.from Mr Kumars centre. How many are in civil service,in banking and in engineering. His center till date would have turned out at least 300 IITians
