It is very heart-warming to see those parents bask in glory of their son's/daugther's achievement and convey their heartfelt thanks and blessings to Mr Kumar. May his ilk increase.

He has done to our society a great service. It is about the time to accord National Award like Padma Bhushan , is not more.I know for asking Bharat Ratna he should be glamorous person or a large fan following.Mr. Anand you do us proud.

It is really great that a person at his own cost and time, helps kids from poor family reach at such heights.
Mr Anand, we pray to almighty that he helps you to excel in this great mission.

This is very touching and great. Shri Anand helping these poor students, most of them from SC/ ST groups. I believe, the cut off marks for these groups is about 60% in IITs. Whereas, is abt 95% for non reservation groups. Actually, almost anyone from these groups, who can study, read write passes IIT.

This can only happen in India.
Why cant we say few good words for a good system. If I recollect correctly, in our previous generation, most of the IAS, ICS, IPS & IRS were from very humble background!
I am proud of my India & I salute it!
Let any capitalistic adversaries come & go; we shall remain strong!

Anand kumar is the real hope for our country. That such work of upliftment can indeed be done must inspire us all. You know the secret of his success? He did not allow any part of Government and its bureaucracy touch him. How he managed with his own money is creditable as well as a mystery. I am sure he spent every penny he has earned elsewhere?Congrats Anandbhai...vgpatel

Mr. Patel, Our system allows even the most humble to attain any heights. While Mr. Anand truely deserves the accolades, even our system requires a pat on the back.
This is only one of the many success stories in India!
India gives an opportunity to everyone; look bac at many sucess stories like Kiran Bedi, Dhirubhai ambani, Narayan Murthy & many others,
India is truely great!
Consider this: in India Nurse's son becomes Doctor & in US Doctor's son becomes a nurse!
