Yes, Delhi Police did the right Thing!!
by Naveen Shetty on Aug 03, 2013 04:11 PM

The action by the Delhi police is in the interest of the Public. These kids will grow up and become another 'Salman' and danger to motorists and general public at large. The shooting will send a clear message to these 'idiots' who think the public roads are their fathers property.

Did the Delhi Police need to shoot to stop rowdy bikers?

We are forgetting the line between liberty and responsibility. There is no point in blaming the police - the main culprits are their families who have failed to inculculate good virtues in their children and the media/NGO's who are hyping about this incident. It was the same media who was making noise when this biking menace was going on.

This is one of the very good acts of Delhi Police! Yes, no doubt, indeed a ghastly time for the family which lost a near and dear one. But, isn't that family responsible for the whole incident???

They/other families too have not been able to discipline/bring up/induce civility or sensibility or responsibility to their wards. Is it not?

When the guys were warned by law enforcers NOT to indulge, what gave the youngsters the confidence to keep doing so? Simple, the confidence came from being a part of 'those' families.

A stick is always the answer to such nonsense, maybe, sometimes a bullet. That puts a permanent end to such menace. Kudos, after that incident there has been peace and calm (at nights) in Kalkaji area, New Delhi which otherwise had to endure 'vrrooom' sounds and screeching brakes in the dead of nights ...

Agree. Death is unfortunate but rowdiness may bring more death & ruin a family. You need muscles to keep peace.

Criminal Act

Does not the Police know that even firing at the moving vehicle is a dangerous Act. Therefore they must be charged with murder. Our country cannot progress in sports if the wobbly and corrupt police indulge in such atrocities.

DID THE POLICE NEED TO SHOOT ROWDY BIKERS
by JAIDEEP SINGH THAKUR on Aug 01, 2013 06:53 PM

Although,it was sad happening, but police should not be held responsible for such mishap,if it is done with the sole intention of maintaining public safety and without any prejudice.Media should better hold erring parents responsible who do not have control over their children & do not educate them suitably

Death of an young man is very unfortunate. But it should not be missed that bikers have defied all previous attempt of police to stop this meanace. Young boys should also learn to respect rulers n regulations.

Though it is sad that a young boy lost his life due to carelessness of police. But the question is how many of us can stop these bikers from doing this 'wheelie'? If not so why should we question the act of police? What is the role of parents of these young children? Just to provide a bike and send them on the roads and make unlawful activities there. Why parents are not taking responsibility to teach their children to understand that other too have a right to live peacefully. Newspapers are making comments on action taken by police but why their employees are not deployed to tell these bikers that they are doing wrong. Let us think about the behavior of these children and the police to avoid this type of confrontation.

DOES YOUNG AGE MEAN KILLING OTHER PEOPLE? WHAT IS LOGIC BEHIND SUCH STUNTS ON ROADS? ARE THEY NOT POSING THREATS TO OTHERS? WHY DID THE BOY NOT STOP EVEN AFTER REPEATED SIGNALS BY POLICE? WHAT THEIR PARENTS TEACHING TO THEM? WHO HAS GIVEN THEM LICENSE TO POSE THREAT TO OTHERS LIVES? HAD YOU COMMENTED LIKE WISE IF SOME POLICE MAN WAS KILLED IN THE EPISODE? BY TAKING SIDE OF THESE AAWAARAA LONDAAS, YOU ARE ENCOURAGING ONLY LAWLESSNESS.
