So the difference is not much when compared to the expenses in US. I always prefer to stay with family, go and visit all my families on weekend. Moreover, the rush to US have decred . you can now get a descend salary in India

Its not only about the money u get. Its about quality of life as well. U might be saving the same amout of money in India, because of high expenses in US, but can u even begin to compare the life there and here?

what about population my dear. Their GDP is 7.5 times that of us and population is 1/4th so per capita GDP works out to 30 times. Simple my dear.

similar to rag picking. actual congratulations should be to their parents who taught him. otherwise the effort required by a rag picker and that working in google is no different.

Ignorance Is Bliss. Without denigrating farmers or rag pickers, I can say with some authority that there is a world of difference in the work involved. However I am sure there is no difference in the hard work required for all these jobs mentioned, as opposed to someone posting here who does have a clue about IT. :)

In what part of world, farmers to mining in their fields?? Dude you grow stuffs in farm. You do not mine them.
While it is a commendable feat for a fresher, it would be good if the media does not over play by converting dollar amounts into salaries.. This is misleading. They do the same with IIMs, .. Report objectively without any hype..otherwise people will get mislead.. Again the guy has done a great job and his feat is commendable. that is about it.
