Has u.G.C.or maharashtra Govt.made it certain that foreigner Muslim students fromB.D.,Pak.,Myanmar,Maaldiv,Afghanistan etc.do not get these cards & scholarships& use them to prove their Indian citizenship?And moreover when our central govt.is itself confused over the nature & utility of this card,how can U.G.C.&M.govt.make at mandatory ?--Jaya deva Arya
We have registered for AADHAR last year 2011 in JULY but still some of the AADHAR cards are NOT delivered yet even till today.
There is some MISMANAGEMENT in the AADHAR card DATA handling, or Preparation or Distribution !
When the website is accessed & registration number is pur as a query, it shows as CARD is delivered !!!
To whom ??
It appears to be a big Joke !
There is NO Foolproof system for distribution.
There should have been a system like the VOTER ID card was instantly delivered at the registration site the very next day, such a system was necessary, otherwise the problems will pereniaaly be continuing everywhere !

This is the idea that came out of Cong VPs mind. So all efforts must be put on to make it successful. The Cong VP has failed on 3 occasions in Bihar, UP and now in Guj. So this scheme has to be made cumpolsory even if it means spending 6000 crores of tax payers money.
If UGC Want,s to compulsorily it why not they take Camps In school & colleges.it is not possible to seat in the office & order,come on ground level, Conduct camps,& Then order otherwise it useless This strong objectionable, Please don't pressure students & teachers to get Aadhar which useless (on its own website declares voluntary). First thing is whether it is government or private company giving this. I request UGC members do you have Aadhar numbers. So please Try To conduct camps,as well increase ceenter.

Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram [ Images ] thinks it is 'just a number'. He is correct. But Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar [ Images ], Railway Minister Pawan Bansal and other ministers say: 'It is a card.'

These ministers have lived their lives & made lots of illgotton monies & their heads can't even think straight. Its time we all throw them out !
