sad for india. Miss u INDIRA GANDHI
by malik mukund on Aug 23, 2013 05:55 PM  | Hide replies

In indira gandhi never such incidents took place, instead she stood by the nation strongly, she brought free education for women. Even Pandits were living happily in kashmir. This lady sonia is brainless who only want money. She has not humanity and all crocodile tears.

Women are rowdies
by Sathya Sathya on Aug 23, 2013 05:14 PM  | Hide replies

When more men were in politics, they made laws favouring women, and supported women at least in words. But women are rowdies and always shout against ALL men. When more women entered politics, they made laws favouring women only.

Maximum exploitation is done by women to women. They never offer any seat in bus or rail to needy women, always men gives with respect. No remedy in law for framed cases as if male does not have any respect. Many extortionist women live in the society.

Fear
by arungopal agarwal on Aug 23, 2013 05:11 PM

General Security prevails in India for common man. But Fear is always haunt in India for everyone viz. pick pocketing, abuse by anyone, Police Dadagiri-always harassing the people who has paying capacity, kidnapping, accidents due to poor infrastructure, traffic jam on highways at any time, demonstration at all times etc.,
Besides above, yes women are to keep special care for themselves viz. not to be at lonely place, remain in proper dress when in public, eve teasing, careful at place of work etc.,etc.,
Biggest problem is how to tackle with one sided laws made by govt.wherein innocents are normally framed.

Natural instincts
by MM on Aug 23, 2013 04:49 PM  | Hide replies

No matter how many laws are made, the safety will not improve. The reason is as following.

If you put sugar open, ants will get attracted. Hence, people put it in a closed bottle.

If you put money or ornaments, it will actract theieves. Hence, people preserves them carefully, in banks they put with security.

These are natural laws.

Similar logic should apply every where. Ladies will get attract by men, particularly some sensitive points are made visible. This is nature's law. And one can not control men by making laws or showing lathi, you can not accuse men for that.
Hence, by the same logic as above, ladies should take precaution about their dress code, stop boy-friend culture etc.

The proof for above hypothesis is, just compare now and few decades ago.. now ladies started wearing tea-shirts, whereas earlier they used to cover their chest. Also, earlier, boys and girls were not going hand-in-hand and did not have the concepts of girl/boy friends. See the difference. They were more safer earlier.

How many brave hearts, activists are willing to campaign/follow about safety measures?

How many of them are campaigning against vulgar and in-decency of fellow ladies showed by models, films which are stimulating youth to do crimes like these?

Nothing comes free of cost, freedom is no exception.

Such a sick mentality. I feel sorry for your wife/wife-to be. This is the whole problem with India. Its full of people like you who look at women only as objects. if there were less crimes earlier its because you guys were keeping the women locked inside the house. In Europe there is more exposure but even a drunken woman is safe at the midnight.

You should go visit a village where little girls are fully clothed and still get molested and raped by men. Are you going to blame the children sold into brothels and say it's their fault for playing outside? Men are the culprit not women's clothes. Also decades ago when women were fully covered rape was still happening.

Correct...well said as we are too much West oriented thats the root of the problem...INDIA is never a USA or EUROPEAN STATES...so dress, culture, language, gesture, posture everything matters here where 60% population is illiterate and they hardly understand democracy, philosophy and humanity...for them is is all NATURE...

The shameful admistrators, legal system and justice delivery system is a cruel joke on citizens. Women & children has no one to protect in this society. Our representatives enjoy just the perk doing little. So hallabol...we have to come out of shell.

Civilized Society
by Radhakrishnan on Aug 23, 2013 04:29 PM

There is no place for rapes and sexual abuses in a civilized Society. But why is there a steep increase in sexual crimes.
It should not be seen in isolation. The conduct of the Politicians and the Government officials who engage in unabashed corruption has set in a moral decay. It is not only the government that is at fault, but also the opposition too, in not being able to be effective in stemming the rot.
