"WHAT IS THE SOLUTION"?????????????
by SHAKTI SANATAN on Aug 25, 2013 09:03 AM

The answer to the punishment for "such horrendous" crime is not easy, since the "whole subject matter" is very complicated and there is not one reason as to why "what happened" happened!!

Regardles, once proven in the "court" of law with the presentation of all "authentic evidences", the "GUILTY" -- whether adult or minor -- should be given capital punishment, in full view of the public, the "hanging" televised so it can have "effect" on future perpetrators [as a deterrant!!??].

[CHEMICAL] CASTRATION before being hanged should be another form of punishment, too.

Arguably, say 25 or 40 or 50 or 63 years back, did such incidences occur at the rate at which they are occuring now? Since the objective answer would be definitely "NO", then the obvious argument would be -- why "gang-rape/s" are occuring at "the rate" far more than so many decades ago?

Among "many reasons" to make the "mind" of so many "persons" becoming "PERVERTED" are:

1. Lessening of "religion","spirituality", "morality", "values", "principles", "ethos", etc.
2. The "impact" of "VULGAR" and "PERVERTED" SHOWS through various means.
3. The "promoters" of above institutions whose "sole" goal is to make money -- without "thinking" as

Nothing but only death sentence for rapists will work in India
by Shweta Sharma on Aug 25, 2013 08:42 AM  | Hide replies

4-5 rapists will get death sentence one after another...We can then check how the data tremendously falls down of rape cases...the beasts will think 10 times before committing such a crime...The law should be that clear in the case of rape-Death sentence and nothing else-like in saudi arabia

(1) That mill being "under litigation for as long as locals remember" is a glaring example of judicial failure. Does one approach court to get justice, or get stuck in Status Quo Ad Infinitum ?
(2) What is wrong with Corporal Punishment For A Corporal Crime ?
If Rapists can not be hanged,at least they can be flogged.
It is , off course, high thinking that Constitution does not allow for Corporal Punishment. But, pray, what is the difference in "Judicial Custody" and "Police Custody" ?
Are citizens made to feel that they are living in some kind of paradise.

72 V for mino rity. Votes for ruling party and criminals roam freely as our pathetic legal systems delays and denies justice to citizens. Laywers and Judges make billions as they drag the cases for decades.

Rape - an unacceptable bi-product of the social system
by Shikharesh Bhattacharya on Aug 24, 2013 08:44 PM

I think it is time we delve into the bottom of this issue by analyzing the social psyche. I am sure a serious and meticulous study by professionals will yield positive results to eradicate this menace, in the long run. Till then, let justice be severe & delivered speedily, although I am afraid it is sadly inadequate. Why can't we introduce corporal punishments for the perpetrators in public in addition to standard verdicts as an interim measure to curb this happenings by introducing fear into the criminally obsessed minds ?

Our judges should feel ashamed. Our justice delivery system is so slow. What happened to nirbhaya gang rape accused? The case is still being dragged on and so other unreported cases. This is a shame for our judges!

Justice without hearing the opposite party is not desirable. Have control over ur emotions. Besides, it is good for women if they dress decently, stop moving at the dead of night. This is for their betterment only. That is why there will be some difference between men and women. We should not forget that this is India and not America. Here staying within limit would help Indian women.
